Notice the difference.
The model number will tell you it's a snapdragon device.

Inscriptions on the back are for devices made for the European Market. They're required to have CE on the back, same with iphones while the ones made for American market don't have those inscriptions. Most phones brought into the country are from America hence that!

@Ishilove, did you notice Psalmz stylishly dodge the answer to your question? Therefore, do not be too quick to defend the seller.

It is obvious that what was sold as a brand new wasn’t a brand new. OP is a naive customer who couldn’t spot the difference between a brand new and a refurbished when the fone was handed to him the first day. He got to know the next day by virtue of the rate at which the battery decreases.
@Psalmz, your reputation is at stake, do not try to defend yourself alone but also respect your customer. Do the needful by settling the case amicably.

Psalmz i will also advise you reach out to jeff2010 and resolve this issue professionally cos;

1. From his chat evidence with you its obvious he reached out early enough(2days) which is fair enough considering the amount involved here.

2. From the pics provided, its obvious that's an aftermarket charger for a supposed new s10+ (except you want to proof that wasn't the charger in the box, which you're yet to do).

3.Like I earlier stated one bad review if not properly managed is all a business in this part of the world needs to crumble (even businesses with good review still crumbles).

Save your brand name and reach a reasonable ground with jeff2010. Peace and Love.

I really don't want to say you are lying but my S10+ is an American variant... I know this when I had issues with it and took for repair in Samsung office, I was told it's USA own and hence nothing can be done and I have to pay for repair... It has an inscription on the back... Model number and made in Vietnam....

Bought a supposed brand new Samsung S10+ phone from psalmz (https://www.nairaland.com/psalmz).
Got home and discovered that the phone was actually a used phone they had repackaged.
The AKG earpiece was fake and got bad the next day.
The battery only lasts about 6 hours when it should be min of 12hours.
I complained to him 2 days after buying the phone and he promised to change it.
I kept going to Ikeja to find him and every time I wouldn't meet him there.
He finally told me to meet some guy to change the phone for me, I was expecting to be given another new phone but all I got was UK used.
Told him since I hadn't used the phone for a month, he can deduct 30k from the 180k I paid him.
Gimme 150k lemme return the phone and bear my loss.
That was where story changed to 'business isn't done that way'.

If you are going to buy phone from him, I hope you do so with utmost diligence.
Preferably, don't buy from him because he's a cheat.

I suggest you keep the pressure on him by taking your case to the dispute resolution thread of this section with all the evidence of how he passed off a used lemon phone as a new one.

Another thing is that new s10 plus comes with a follow come screen protector installed,
Like better screen protector that finger print works for, not the normal nylon that covers the phone, if OP didn’t peel anything from the screen then the phone is not brand new.
