I don't like the name odua republic because a Yoruba nation can't include all odua race so why do we popularize the name "odua" there are other names that could define us better not Odua republic.
Except we want to rewrite people history and add what is not.
Ijaw of ondo are not odua descendant, egun of badagry are not Odua, tapa of oshodi are not, even some Yoruba sect have a variant story of their race different from the popular once.we can't force name like 'odua' on other race who are path of us.

No Yoruba indegene is an Odua decendant (except Onirisha's royal Lineage) because Yoruba existed centuries and centuries before Oduduwa's birth, Yorubas existed since the days of Orishas like Ogun, Sango , Osun , Orunmila when the gods and diety walk the earth

However Oduduwa is the First Political leader of Yorubas that gathered us into a single Political unit


Odua is like what Italian Christopher Columbus is to America

Even Check the history well well, Yoruba have been in existence with others ethnic nationalities, e.g itsekiris, tapa, eegun, etc! before the coming of oodua.

That's one of the reasons I'm not totally in support of the name.

Tollyboy is a known anti yoruba rat from the land of witches and potential Italian oloshos.
