Let your wife do some little exercise and let her observe if the baby moves but above all I will suggest you take your wife to see a Doctor or midwife asap

Na so my wife raise alarm for our first baby. Spent money on tests only to find out no cause for alarm. Nonetheless still get Ur baby checked out

Still go the the hospital though.

Is she feeling any pains? Go for scan, and check the heartbeat.

Let her take cold soft drink and lie on her side. If she doesn't feel 10 movements in two hours, she needs to go to the hospital.

Starting from the 28th week of pregnancy, women should do kick counts so as to observe the pattern of movements of their baby.

This kick counts should be done at a particular time that she has noticed the baby is very active.

It's either 10 movements in an hour or two hours, depending on what your OB tells you.

A scan costs less than 2k. It will reveal a lot.

That is our bane. It is good to have faith and pray but, God in His infinite wisdom gave us doctors for a reason.
PLEASE CONSULT AN APPROPRIATE DOCTOR.

Your wife hasn't felt baby's kick for 2 days and you rushed to nairaland when you av a doctor,at least I am assuming she registered for ANC
Even women in the village know the next appropriate step to take is to do a scan which a Dr would still tell u to do.
I bet there is a scan centre not far from you.
For just 2k in the average scan centre,your fears could either be allayed or confirmed.
Though Nigerians always want to run away from the truth & of course I am not praying that will be family's case,a baby(fetus) can die in the womb for various reasons and if that happens,the earlier that dead fetus is delivered,the better for your wife,for her own health and future conceptions
