It's so so sad seeing the animals at the park where I run most weekends being killed. I was running early in the morning, press so I decided to ease myself. In the process a monkey came close to where i was and I was admiring it and hoping it could follow me somehow as a pet.

Due to the sound of music from my phone the monkey turned back realizing I was close by and started running towards human settlements. It was hunting birds for food, so I thought as I saw birds flying away from the direction it was running to. Only for me to come out and behold a barbaric act. The monkey has just been killed by a man I ran across a few minutes ago.

It was so painful but at that point there was nothing I could do. I just wish animals can have more protection around here. Please stop Killing animals indiscriminately.

Guys what do you think can be done to stop the killing of monkeys in this beautiful park?

that was my thoughts exactly, they so much look like human. I almost vomited while creating that thumbnails above. But whats it with this Nigerian culture of killing killing self? In S.A those animals are protected by laws but here anything goes.

They need to make animal rights into laws in this country but I doubt if it will ever happen .Even human rights laws, we're still fighting for them to be upheld

you're right. But it just a shame, what other countries are benefiting from in terms of tourism is been destroyed over here everyday we lack conservation culture as a country
