bro Dunkirk wasn't a battle, it was withdrawal under fire at best, a battle would imply that there were at least two sides trying to gain position and/or tactical advantage. And I don't need historical propaganda from the BBC for a reference, I actually prefer unbiased academic records, that the British expeditionary force was routed isn't in doubt at the onset, that German bombing raids were a nuisance I didn't dispute, I am only saying the Germans beat the British at first not because they were better, it was just because they were better prepared for a war nobody else was planning to fight, OK, pit the German war industry getting to the end of the war against the British war industry at the beginning of the war and understand my position, having men and bodies to throw into the war effort is all well and good, but logistics win wars, not just men, when the British war machine peaked in their efficiency at the later stages of the war the empire (yes I included it's colonies) was beating the Germans back battle by battle. Logistics too is also the reason the Germans lost the eastern front in stalingrad, their best fighting force was cut of from supplies and bogged in a concrete guerrilla warfare they were untrained in and had to surrender after running out of firepower! That is how the Russian reversals started.
