What does it cost to apologise?
Don't care to know the details but it's not a good idea to be on the wrong side of the club fans.
Simple "sorry" most times averts a loads of grief.

I agreed with you but when I watched the press conference he neither abuse the fans but rather encourage them for absolute support. Then english press and President of Man City fans blew it out it proportion.

He said he knows what his intention was!. Doesnt that just bottle it all up? Why should he apologize for just saying he was 'dissapointed'. Pep still went ahead and laid emphasy on what he meant.

To the fans buzzing
Rest. (drops mic)

Manchester city don't really have fans and their PR team are not even trying.
They have are the most successful English team at the moment, they should be able to attract people to support them.
They need to do something to attract fans to the stadium.
Tottenham have not won any trophy for some years now but they still sell more tickets than Manchester city.
The supporters chairman needs to do something different.
I'm with guadiola on this one

The problem is they have Manchester United just down the road

They are in the shadow of Manchester united, They should have changed their name.
Imagine Robinho saying he thought he was signing for Manchester united not knowing it was Manchester city until he got to England and realized it's a different club.

He {Pep Guardiola} even threatened to walk away from the club if the fans feel he hurts them. He said and i quote ,'' if the fans feel i offended them , i'll walk away from city rather than appologizing''.
Pep get class ...
Pep gat level...
Pep get top admirers.
Lets wait and see who soccumbs to this pressure.

The way this game of football has been dominated by big money recently, I know the fans will get tired of watching such an opulence and extravagant spending very soon. These football clubs don't even take the existing realities of their fans into consideration, they just spend money lavishly on players and frivolities, imagine buying a single player for £400 million and still spending millions of dollars on a weekly pay of that player. Anything that grew based on the cherishing love of the people (fans) can only be tamed by the same people. The football game (or soccer as widely known), though such an entertaining sports game as we know it, will be destroyed by money if it doesn't tame the path that it is toeing presently.

You know you are a small club if you have to beg your own fans to come to the stadium.
Nah, Man City fans just have jobs and lives so not all of them can be in attendance at a midweek game, Unlike Man U fans that are all touts and hooligans.

Everyone who's ever lived in the area will tell you Man city have the more elite supporters in Manchester, while ManU fans are mostly lower middleclass.

Europis a different ball game. Teams need an X-factor to win it. But I don't see him doing that with that team. Now other top teams have gotten more firepower. Can that City team beat Bayern? Chelsea? Man u with CR7? I don't see them getting the UCL before these other teams.
All this teams are there when we got to the final last season so this time around we are going for the trophy direct and no team can stop us grin

Yes because that's what guadiola is complaining about.
Fans don't come to the stadium to watch match.
They don't feel the home advantage atmosphere in the stadium like other teams do.
But he cannot force them now he can only appeal to them to come out and support the team not doing it asive he's fighting the fans...

You have something against spending personal money on a leisure activity like viewing football, yet I am almost certain you even spend more on your very own definition of leisure or fun.

Come now, leisure is subjective and the one who claims a higher ground to insult others for what gives them joy is the very one who needs to receive sense!!!

What players earn can't be any more ridiculous than the millions actors and actresses earn for their idea of entertainment... Shall we talk about the billions Nairaland, Facebook, Instagram, etc make to enable you have the sense to call others senseless??!

Oga u can't compare being on fb to spending money on football, I know many people making money on fb, and yea there are free ways to enter fb, like I usually do.

N.B I never said those watching football were senseless, like people are quoting me.
