I told him i cant and he kept insisting, telling me how he is well known on nairaland and other platforms etc. Me i no get time for that type of long talk so i just block am. It is the annoyance he is displaying here now. Happy sunday to you. One of the most straight forward traders here.

Cause NL account can be hacked, WhatsApp account can be hacked.
You might think you're transacting with escrow, meanwhile, you're about to send money to one random scammer on Whatsapp

This happened to one of my colleagues on Tech section, after a Gadget Picker's WhatsApp in US got hacked.

Scammer requested for urgent funds, baba thought he was chatting with Picker. Unknowing to him, he sent money to the scammer. He failed to take note of the new account number.

Honestly, very few of us will see that as a red flag, after doing transactions for months with that person
