UN Protest: Yoruba Nation Agitators List Six Demands As Buhari Departs Nigeria by Dovegrey: 10:59am On Sep 19, 2021 |
Yoruba Nation agitators and other self-determination groups have listed six demands ahead of their protest at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The agitators threatened that the “biggest March” will hold on September 24, the day the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), will address the United Nations General Assembly. This is as the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Femi Adesina, announced on Sunday that the president has departed Nigeria for the 76th UN General Assembly in New York Sunday. A spokesperson for the agitators, Maxwell Adeleye in a statement listed the demands as the abolition of the 1999 Constitution and the suspension of further elections (Particularly the 2023 elections), conduct a referendum, end to Fulani Genocide, end to Oligarchy, and declaration of Miyyeti Allah as a terrorist organisation among others. The statement quoted Chairman of NINAS, Prof. Banji Akintoye, as saying, “Rather than listen to the yearnings and aspirations of our people, the Buhari-led Government has consistently waged war against people who attempt to checkmate the menace of Miyyetii Allah in the name of grazing of cows. “Our appeal to the Government, therefore, is to address the issues raised in the December 16, 2020 Constitution Force Majure declared by NINAS. This appeal is necessary so that Indigenous Nationalities in NINAS Territories can peacefully negotiate for what they want without further delay. “Our demand remains conduct of a referendum so that the Indigenous people of the South and Middle-Belt of Nigeria can lawfully and legally decide on their nationhood and sovereignty. We demand the immediate abolition of the imposed 1999 Constitution. “We demand an end to the genocide being perpetrated by Miyyetii Allah against our people. Miyyetii Allah is a Terrorist group and it should be declared such by the United Nations. The invasion of our land in the name of grazing is enough. What is happening in our Territories today is State-sponsored Terrorism and Land grab, not cow grazing. “We shall resume the March on 24th September, Opposite the United Nations Headquarters to tell President Muhammad Buhari to his face that his Miyyetii Allah people are the enemy number one of the people of South and Middle-Belt of Nigeria, and they are the authentic Terrorists.” Source https://punchng.com/un-protest-yoruba-nation-agitators-list-six-demands-as-buhari-departs-nigeria/ 1 Like 1 Share |

I am hoping people are seeing the huge difference between Tony Nnadi and Nnamdi Kanu. While Tony Nnadi is very alright with installing others in leadership roles, Nnamdi Kanu monopolises such, even roles he has no qualifications to take on. Tony Nnadi is the brain behind LNC, NINAS, MNN, but he will hardly ever take on the chairmanship role of any of these organisations. He will rather opt for well-established elders, and he is super-strategic when choosing these elders. Fred Agbeyegbe is the chairman of LNC, that comprises both the SE and SS. Agbeyegbe is a renowned Itsekiri elder statesman and a legal luminary. Prof. Akintoye is the chairman of NINAS and renowned history professor of Yoruba ethnic stock and a respected elder. If Nnamdi Kanu was the person doing what Tony Nnadi is doing, Nnamdi would have made himself the supreme leader of LNC and the commander in chief of NINAS and these are roles he has no qualifications whatsoever to take on. Now, Tony Nnadi is more qualified academically than Nnamdi Kanu to take on these lofty roles, but Tony, being a super strategist, has opted for well-established elders, while he(Tony) occupies the engine room of the movement. Can you now see why lately, the high and mighty in the society and in the international community are more likely to associate with Tony than with Kanu. Elders like Ebitu Ukiwe, Akintoye, Nwodo e.t.c. are openly attending meetings called by Tony Nnadi. Freedom fighting is not just about rallying the keke-drivers to be waving Biafran flags and screaming HOLY HOLY HOLY NNAMDI KANU IS ANOTHER SAVIOUR. Total rubbish. These are the cannon-fodders in human form, used by the Fulani-terrorist government to embed bullets, knowing full well their leader does not have the international connection to rally the international community to investigate. Tony Nnadi is a far more competent freedom-struggle leader, but he is super-young, and he knows that, which is probably why he appreciates elders with related mindset, and is very happy with them leading the major arms of the struggle. Something Nnamdi Kanu will never do, but will rather use his radio station to destroy such elders, while his zombies will cheer him on, while at the same time, be wondering how he was so easily captured and tortured in Kenya with no one raising an eye brow. Tony's Achilles heel is that his link with the grassroots is not as powerful as that of Nnamdi Kanu. If only Nnamdi Kanu had agreed to work UNDER Tony Nnadi, Kanu would have been communicating and rattling the grassroots while Tony will be in charge of the planning of the struggle and the establishment of the necessary arms to carry the fight beyond the shores of Nigeria. This whole struggle would have been the most explosive the world has ever experienced. Igbos would have been overwhelmingly represented in the upcoming 24th September match at the UN event. 1 Like 2 Shares |

OfoIgbo: Total bunkum. If not for Nnamdi Kanu and his radio, who would have been talking about referendum today? MNK sensitized everyone, including the so-called Tony Nnadi, whom no one knew of, until quite recently. You here criticizing a man, who has done the whole work, giving pple like Nnadi soft landing. Is Nnadi not riding on the back of IPOB ryt now? Saying that MNK should have worked under Tony, rather than with him...has given you away. For the records, ur ill-thought comparisons here are inconsequential. Igbos only know of one person who has brought them this far, and that is MNK. Any other person is simply playing second fiddle and can never measure up to him. Know this and know peace. Udo. 2 Likes |

AntiBMC: A typical Nnamdi Kanu person. It's always about ME, ME and ME. It must be Nnamdi Kanu heading it, whether he is qualified or not. Well, get it from someone that knows more about these things than you. LNC started talking about Referendum, years before IPOB was formed. Also bear in mind that it was not Nnamdi Kanu that formed IPOB. Those that formed IPOB had already started talking about referendum, before Kanu joined, and snatched IPOB away from them, because he was controlling Radio Biafra. You can rightly say that IPOB probably got the referendum mantra from LNC. Take this to the bank. I will still repeat that Nnamdi Kanu should work UNDER Tony Nnadi, and help him to get close to the grassroots. Nnamdi is a master at speaking and communicating with the grassroots, while Tony Nnadi is more elitist. But Tony Nnadi is a master at strategising and has the competence to put up structures more appealing to the international community, and with which, the international community will have no problems negotiating with. Nnamdi Kanu does not have it. |

I'm fully in support of mass protest against Buhari in UNGA. Let the DSS, NPF and NM go and harras the protesters in NY |
