This looks intresting to me. A question though, how long (years) can these batteries last before changing them? Thank you.
topsy23:
Using a solar hybrid inverter will minimize the consumption on NEPA. U will pay less only if you are using prepaid meter. I don't know if your solar inverter will be able to power all your AC, if it can power all tye AC then you will hardly use NEPA.

I have a client that installed 25KVA solar hybrid inverter for his duplex and decided not to connect to national grid(NEPA). But he spent huge amount of money installing the solar then . 72nos of DECAGEL(made in USA) baterry installed which can last for 24hrs on full load.

Did you do German floor? If yes, then the floor will not be smooth. In this situation, smooth (polish) off the floor and cover with vinyl (rubber) carpet.

If you did not do German floor, fill up the floor, polish off and cover with vinyl carpet. I can't see any other way.

Good evening everyone.

Please I need your help and advice both professionally and by experience.

I recently did a 40ft tank stand for a client and there are going to be six(6) 750 gallons. The issue is that the plumber said the client should buy a pumping machine after buying a sumo.

So my question is,is that necessary. Isn't the sumo enough to pump water to the tanks and then gravity will bring it down. The plumber is saying that the sumo can't do that job effectively and should be supported by a pumping machine.

Hello, Please I will be needing everyone's opinion on this;

I have this small space I created for kids, I don't wanna install tiles now on the floor(money issues).

What are the cheaper options to tiling apart from just cementing the floor?

I need help. Thanks
What is the floor now?

First of all, are you contracted for the plumbing job as well? If no, from experience please don't get involved. Perform your contract to specification and leave.

Are you asking just for the knowledge and experience? If so, is the water source from a borehole or well? You would normally need the right capacity submersible sumo for the borehole to transfer water to the overhead tanks and gravity kicks in and do the rest.

If it is a well, you would normally settle for a pumping machine instead to transfer the water to the overhead tanks.

However, if the plumbing network is complex like a huge project, you MAY need a pressure booster. Not an additional pumping machine. It is possible but I have not experienced where a sumo and a pumping machine are combined for strength to transfer water overhead.

So like I said earlier, be careful how you get involved in this. Unless this is included in your contract, allow the client and their plumber to sort this out. Or are you the one who recommended the plumber?

If there's appropriate sizing of discharge pipes, and adequate head( height of the tank), definitely there's no need for any booster pump, the water will flow well, but most of the plumber size their pipes based on rule of thumb or experience, having the booster pump is like their backup plan,

I will still advice you not to intervene unless if it's going to affect you, but if not man your business, those guys might take you as enemy, some might be looking for your fault or your weakness,

Hi y’all
I greet everyone that has keep the thread moving and making positive impacts in all nairaland’s life...

My question is,what are the document to be considered when one is buying in a land?

I’m tryna buy a land at the treasurehill park estate ikola, and they said I’m meant to pay the following

“ 50k for Survey
10% of land price for Legal and Documentation fee
And for the developmental fee 500k”

I want to ask if all of this is legal...

Y’all contribution will be forever appreciated
Since you're buying into their Estate, it's no longer a question of legality.

They decide what they want. It's up to you to accept or leave.

The estate is around ikola Alagbado, very close to command ipaja

Do you feel the 10% of price land isn’t it?

I’m confused here
folmus:
This one be like one chance.

What is the name of the developer?

50k for a survey? in Lagos?

Most developers have a fixed amount for documentation, not 10% of land price.

Shine your EYE WELL WELL

I’ve never produced my own blocks so I’ll defer to others with experience.

One thing though is supervision. You need to ensure that they won’t take shortcuts with the mixture,

Good luck on your project.

Moulding your blocks will always be far better than buying blocks both in terms of cost and the quality of the blocks. But to achieve this, you must be on ground to supervise the moulding, otherwise it will end up being better you purchased from an industry.

Good luck!
