It's hurtful for real football fans to see how watered down the game has been these days by a certain fan base who use the number of goals scored as a yardstick. I mean, it's unbelievable how adults can take comfort in comparing a poacher to a playmaker and using the number of goals scored as a standard. It's not Messi's fault barca is worse now that he's left because unlike Ronaldo at Juve, Messi actually made barca much better than before he joined. Before his debut, we had only one UCL, now he left us with 5, gave us 10 or 11 laliga titles more, 3 UEFA super cups, 3 fifa club world cups, heck barca even won their first and second treble with him, even a sextuple. Meanwhile, what did Ronaldo achieve with Juve that they didn't already have or what heights did he attain that they hadn't already attained or how far did his presence help them go?
