Maybe because you have nothing sensible to say.
The op brought receipt from an eatery in Borno where vat collection was not done. You brought the exact same receipt which solidified the op's position then turn round to make an empty boast of an ability to produce receipts of all restaurants in Borno.
May I ask if the topic of discussion is what eatery you ate at or how many restaurants you know in bokoland, or that Rivers complies fully with vat collection while your parasitic boko enclave does not?
The logical summation is that you're a fool sir

Not so fool and dumb to think that eating in a restaurant is a "life time achievement"

Mtcheew. You're not serious. So you actually think SPAR will not pay VAT?

Do you realize SPAR is in different locations in Nigeria? Or you think only your calabar has SPAR?

I can bring the receipts of several other eateries and you won't see VAT there.my point is that non-indication of VAT in receipts does not mean that they dont pay VAT

That receipt has two prices, one with vat (1500) and the other the normal price (1482).

You need to know when to give up na.this is a public forum and you need to be careful with your statements... VAT is 7.5% and 7.5% of 1482 is 18 and will equals 1500 in your own calculation? According to the op,the normal price of what he purchased as stated in the receipt was 2,325 and 7.5% of that is 174.5 which Jack's up the price to 2500 or so..if the normal price of what I bought is 1482,7.5% of that figure is about 105 which means the total price will be 1,593 not 1500 sir.once again, you are wrong just like the op cheesy

Ok. So why do you have two prices on your receipt?
Has it occurred to you that there might be a discount on your purchase?
Find out why you have two prices on your receipt.
Every average Joe will see you have two prices on that receipt.

Is discount vat? You are very funny.you have nothing else to say.the fact is clear,18 naira is not vat which is 7.5%...,by the way 18 naira is for the plate itself minus the food itself

Understand what i'm saying? There are two prices on your receipt which are unaccounted for. Maybe you should visit SPAR today and ask them for the reason you paid 1500 when there is a 1482 tag there. It's obvious your VAT is lying somewhere in-between the 1482 and 1500. Even you can't explain the reason for the difference. But commonsense should tell you without being told that SPAR will definitely be paying VAT. So it's safe to assume there's a discount on what you bought which led to the 1500 total price. I believe I have broken it down in the lowest possible manner. Hope you're able to grab now.

And it's even very funny and shallow to say the plate is N18. I've never heard of that crap before. But I'm not surprised it can be coming from you though

You can use receipts to determine payment of VAT. You are the dumbo who does not understand that. While you can claim that VAT not being written does not mean it is not paid, which will also be debatable, you should also note that it is the customer that pays VAT and should reflect that he has truly paid it for his purchase. That is common sense that you should try to apply in all things.

The Port Harcourt Restaurant is defrauding customers in the name of VAT.

Customers aren't supposed to pay VATs on FOODS in Restaurants. However, if they order for imported exotic wines and other non-essential items like Hennessy or Jonny Walker, they will be charged VATs.
