even if IMSG does any repair, they will most likely forfeit it
thats not saying the state govt, cant and shouldnt do it, but most often than not they will use the argument above as excuse
a case in point was in Rivers state, nkpolu junction on east west road, even though after 3years the state govt decided to fix it, after it has caused 2 lives and untold hardship

Our landmass is also 6 times bigger than theirs.

Things fall apart the centre can no longer hold it.

The problem in most road construction project isn't the Highway Engineer who constructed the road but failure of the government or professional bodies to understand that there is the need for synergy between professions when it comes to road and building construction.

A Geotechnical Engineering or Geologist should be included in any road or building projects in order to avoid issues as this.

The location is not Oba rather Obosi, the road from Upper Iweka to Owerri just before the second Niger bridge landing, between Mgbuka motor spare parts and Electrical Market all in Obosi. A petrol tanker was trapped there and the entire road is locked down.
Residents fear that the entire road will cave in later due to visible cracks on the remaining parts of the road.
Unfortunately, this is the major road linking travelers from ABIA, IMO, RIVERS, AKWA IBOM, and some parts of Calabar to the headbridge.
the traffic situation as i type this is very worrisome.
