My worry is that is this how Armed Robbers can easily override the Electric fence we have in our house?
How possible is this?
Professionals, installers and Clients who have this type of Electric Fence in their House should please weigh in.

When you cut a strand out of an electric fence wire there is going to be a spark and also an alarm to notify you that there is an intruder… that’s the primary function and in case if you are not at home there is an app that can notify you of any incident on your phone…touching the alarm cable can be lethal reason they cut off the wire before gaining access.

Also for electrical boxes at the plot entrance, what boxes are available?

Central water distribution is very possible using braithwait tank. Maybe using using water meter meter to know individual consumption for billing.

For the electrical, feeder pillar to be located in a centralise location where all the house can be connected to.

Also underground cable must be adopted

Below is recently designed estate in Abuja.

750KVA transformer is to power the whole estate based on our calculations, We have 3nos Generators rated 350KVA, 350KVA and 250KVA to be synchronised together. A Synchronization /Automatic changeover panel was designed for the whole of the estate. Each building is connect to Feeder pillar as shown on the drawings. There are 7no feeder pillars and one feeder is feed 4 buildings and the total number of duplex is 29.

There is provision for checkmeters to meter each apartment to read both PHCN and Generators. The facility manager is to do the calaculation at the end of the month and send to individual apartment

It's feasible, but you just need to get the idea, of how each of the distribution system works before deciding, also economics aspect also is very important, each one with pros and cons, there are 3 types of water distribution system, gravity, pumping, and dual system,

With proper Design and installation,it is possible.The pumps sizing has to be correct,Storex capacity,Cold water pipes needs to be properly sized.
It's important to get the Design and Installation right.
The area of concern will be Adequate water supply.
The Nigerian factor will come into play.
I mean the power supply to power the pumps.
I will suggest using Solar system as one of the sources of power for the Pumps.

Infact they are just terrible, I don't know the kind of joy or satisfaction they derive from making and keeping other people sad. Went to site this morning, lo and behold, they cut off my pumping machine wire and went away with both the wire and the control switch. how much them won con sell them. The funniest thing is that the land is fenced.

The cost is not much. Less than 700k to insert steel sheet inside the perimeter wall of 600sqm parcel of land.

I’m completely out of my depths and looking for ideas. I’ll definitely bring a pro in once I decide feasibility since this is a commercial endeavor.

I’m open to learning and request to be bombarded with ideas and options.

The clientele I want to market to are in the abroad and I want them to have a feel of the abroad once they enter the gates of the estate.

Youll spend less than 700k on 44 PCs of 18 gauge sheet of pan needed to fence a plot of land.
