Since PDP hints about zoning their Presidency to the north in 2023,the south west has been restless, paranoid, crying and fearful.I notice they have activated a full propaganda to support a southern president in 2023 because it will favour but I have questions to ask

(1) why is the south west concern about who PDP chose for 2023 when they have little or no stake in PDP?

(2) why did the south west betray the south in 2015 to get VP position but now is against the south east or south south from be VP to another northern candidate.

It seems the south west are trying to play smart but the south east governors and south south leaders are wiser than them.

Please enough of this bickering,it's not gonna do us southerners any good.
We should come together and speak with one voice against these parasites who have cornered everything, almost all fed govt top positions including the law to themselves and using same against us.
Everything in this country including that bloody is positioned against the south but in favour of the north... Now that it seems they forgot to skew vat to their favour in the constitution, they are about to do another abracadabra, again against the south.
High time we took the bull by the horns, thanks

Where should that southern candidate come from?

In all fairness it should come from either the SE or SS..
The south west may try if only the candidate is Osinbajo..but I don't know how that will go down well with the people of the SE and SS cos they really feel the SW betrayed them 2014 which is unfortunately true.

If we make the mistake of continuous bickering and the north takes the advantage again,it's a pity cos.

To start with, who tell u the south west is afraid of any party's choice?
It is the igbos that should be afraid cos the pdp they served for over 20 years isn't looking at their side n even apc they fat no stake.

(1) Yorubas have an upper hand in both apc n pdp than any igbo man dead or alive. With the way u want to use blackmail as your only weapon nobody is subscribing to that n also how do u expect any serious party to zone presidency to your side when some fools can order sit at home n make the party lose out.

(2) Don't u people get tired of the betrayal crap u talk all the time, south west gave Jonathan all their votes in 2015 only for the idiot to sideline them n u still expect us to vote him again?

See the earlier the better u realise that u igbos are political dwarf in Nigeria the better.

Come 2023

President - south south or south west
Vice - north for sure
Senate President- ss or sw.
Then igbos can follow

for this country to move on to the path of progress, organized referendum, discard sharia law, discard that evil 1999 constitution, stop quota system, make kidnapping, terrorism, banditry shoot at sight order

with these aforementioned then we can sit and talk about staying together or not. I hate unprogressive people

I said this long time ago, yorubas suddenly championing southern unity is ridiculous. I love the way SE governors shunned them in Enugu. When Buhari leaves office and Tinubu's ambition crumbles, yoruba will be in political wikderness for a long time

Thats what I keep saying Yoruba shouting southern presidency are not doing it in the interest of fairness and equality and unless you want to decieve yourself if both pdp and apc pick their candidate from southern Nigeria pdp will loose woefully, because ipob no elections in biafra land will really affect pdp chance in their stronghold, the only chance pdp have to get back to power is Northern candidate (not atiku)if Yoruba really serious about southern presidency let apc too pick their presidential candidate from South East, abi there is no reasonable igbo in apc that can be given their party tickets?im for the betterment of this country and if apc give osibanjo their ticket today I will personally campaign and vote for him but Tinubu is no no for me and it should be for every sensible Nigerian because he is just buhari pro max.

I think the south is just waking up to political realities.

I actually applaud the Igbo. Rather than making noise up and down about how they are entitled to this or that, they realized they must start with baby steps.

First show devotion to the country by having a regional ally (The North) and first get the VP. From there Nigerians may get over our collective phobia of them in power.

The SE has nothing to gain from SW presidency as the VP will most certainly be NC/NE. So it makes sense for them to support a situation where they get the VP.

An unexpectedly calculated move from that region.

The recent 'southern unity' by yorubas must be rejected by SE and SS. Yorubas must be punished by the south for betraying southern interest in 2015

This is why Southerners best allies are actually Northerners.

Imagine a region in the south wanting others to support them to get what those other regions themselves are yet to get.

That's like asking the starving man to work for the person who is already chopping to be able to get second portions in the name of "unity".

If this country ever splits into North and South I dey fear for this your south.

Power should stay in the hands of a Northerner as only a decent, upright Northerner can produce justice and equity.

NC/NE Presidency with SE VP is in everyone's best interests.

Forget southern unity, it is hollow.

Very hollow, the north treats a part if the south with fairness (SE VP ticket) but another part of the south (SW) who hates such faireness wants your support to grab everything all in the name of southern unity? Why cant SW sopport SE APC president even without SE votes the way it hapened with Obasanjo?

PDP is prepared to offer the NC/NE the presidency, 2 regions that have never held such a position. I personally think the NC should be given the ticket for national unity, however the internal workings will reveal how things go as time moves forward. Moreover, the SE will be given the VP ticket, this is true inclusion. What is the better offer for the SE or NC/NE? The answer is nothing.

APC wants to give a region that will have 16 years as President/VP the ticket again before others in the south. This will spell doom for APC as NW/NE/NC + SE/SS equals victory. The SW is politically isolated. The only way to beat the North is for APC to offer the ticket to the NC/NE before PDP does.

Politics is about uniting interests of various parties, not selfish ambition of party members.

This is recipe for anarchy. The south will not accept any northern presidency, what the hell do you guys take us for,fools/slaves?
What the hell is the north east and nc haven't tasted the presidency, when you all are arewa?!
You better be careful.

Yoruba leaders getting betrayed in 2023 may actually be a blessing in disguise for the average yoruba man. grin someone said BMC SW would learn their lesson. Plus the damage that has been done to nigeria in the past years by this current administration and not to talk of the rising debt, anybody taking over is either going there to continue looting or has some serious work on his hands, Northern president hasn't reduced banditry and infact kidnapping is now a new venture in the north, the kidnapping industry in the north alone turning over $50m in the past 8 years, what's the use of power when your people are largely in poverty and lacking behind globally. The bright side is that atleast IPOB/ESN agitation would reduce once they're given vice presidency.

With or without your support for OBJ in 2023, he would have won coz he was a master of rigging. Moreso who is his opponent? Same Muhammadu Buhari that you detest.

Nobody got a choice then, even the Yorubas got no other choice than to support him then because whether you support or oppose, OBJ will still win.

When we needed you most in 1959 coalition, 1979, 1983, 1993, & 1999. You guys are nowhere to be found.

We owe the Ibos nothing just like they owe us nothing!! So you guys should stop saying it like we owe you a pledge we need to fulfil.
