.

There is a teenager in my street I used to hire to nail damaged doors for me. Very small boy who was in secondary school last year. I saw him this year riding one expensive bike. He met me on the road while riding my own rickety bike, and feigned not seeing me. We meet on the roads daily, pretending as if I don't exist.

I asked my wife who owns the bike and I was told the boy owns it and his house is also under construction. I asked what he does for a living and wife confidently said YAHOO as if it is a job with dignity.

The useless EFCC only goes after innocent people and those with expensive rides in the cities that they can fleece while budding fraudsters walk free in small towns.

I needed money to buy fuel for my bike's use last week and decided to carry passengers on my route. The guy I carried can be said to be a 'yahoo' guy from his look and rigorous typing on his phone while on speed. I dropped him in and bar in town and he asked me to wait for him. He directed me to move deep into the door of the lounge where fraudsters, judging from their looks, were into big-time merrymaking. Come and see expensive cars that were parked and I didn't see any adult figure at sight -- all of them below age 30. Their overtures showed that some of them live there 24/7 without any meaningful daytime job.

The country is rotten from top to the bottom!

.
so is ur problem the boy that bought a new bike or are u intimidated by their success, oga this ur post smells of INSECURITY and jealousy, if ur Okada man work no pay u upgrade to busdriving or truck driving, did u expect the boy to remain nailing doors for u so that ull feel like king over him..fraud is bad YES but envy is witchcraft

It’s difficult waking up in the morning as early as 4 a.m and returning sometimes as late as 1a.m all for a job that would never make you achieve your dreams. You then come to a point where you realize you are chasing something that you would never catch up with.

Be that as it may, it is no crime to work with one’s hands- Didn’t God make man to work, even toil? Our first daddy was made to name all the animals in the world and we know that for every specie, there are tens to thousands of sub-species and billions of animals in them. When would he have finished? No wonder he needed a help-mate.

Today, young men and women want to lie on their back and get their wages, wages of others through deceit. If they are blessed with long life, they’ll see that they spent their youth in emptiness, their names being wiped off like a footprint by the seashore.

Is it a crime to get paid 30k for a 300 hour a month job? No! Many who are rich and honorable today started as volunteers in many endeavors.

We have a tradition down here that is killing our future- honoring wealth above a good name.

It’s so sad. I feel for them.

I swear Bro I've Tried That shit
Seeing your mates drip and Enjoying while you're account balance is Not worth looking at is Damn Depressing
Although I haven't scammed Anyone
I came to a point I realized that Scam is not worth it
I changed my mindset and All I could now think of Is How to Find A legit Hustle

Likewise, my mates dripped in things I could only dream of. I stopped logging in to Facebook due to the early stages of depression I felt, and for years now, about 9 years now, I have not logged into Facebook except to read my messages or look for someone through google's help.
But today, I can't think of anything they have that I don't have- through the work of my hands.

There are many ways of making money even through technology but these guys haven't tried something which you have tried- changing the mindset. (it isn't easy I must say especially when one's parents are the supporters-in-chief of going into yahoo or other crimes).

Many people are looking for Keke riders, Uber drivers, dispatch riders, nannies, etc. but there is a scarcity of reasonable youths on our streets. There are many rich people in Nigeria who need people to care for their aged parents and they are ready to pay handsome salaries. But guys want the easiest way out- sleeping, eating, and merriment.

If they would not consider paid employment, why don't they get skills for online freelance works, international stocks trading, or even forex trading?

There are a lot of things to blame for our convoluted mindset but we must first blame ourselves.
