Guys I need your help. I changed my car engine oil last week, and I noticed there's a leakage at the bottom plate. this made the engine oil to constantly dropping.
i have replaced another bottom plate yesterday, but we noticed the oil is now short. the mechanic advised me to top oil, since it's just last week I changed oil.

what do you advised, should I discharge all the oil and put new one or I should buy a litre and let the mechanic top it?

Id say you should fix the issue and top it…

How long do you want to top oil for ?? He go tiyer you soonest so better fix the leak ASAP

I have changed to new bottom plate. the problem won't persist again

Ok since last service was weeks ago,
Just top it up no need to drain

just like the Camry, it has the error from factory. It shortens oil. It must be topped before the next service.

Top it. But you should use the same brand and type currently in it.
