Check out Channel Television Facebook page posted yesterday. They posted Taliban hung some guys for kidnapping. Most of the comments are from christians praising the Taliban. The Afghan military folded, they didn't even fight the Taliban.

Afghanistan has also had serious gun control so people cannot defend themselves.

Now, the Taliban has control of ALL the weapons in Afghanistan.

People have protested. Men who protested were brutalized and killed. Women who protested were corralled but not killed.

What more do you think the ordinary, every day Afghan can do o wise one?

When an organized group of minority have executive power, religious power or military power, they can lord it over the majority. What I responded to was the poster's assumption that Afghans seem to be enjoying the Taliban by allowing them to rule since the Taliban apparently are a minority. My response is to debunk that claim that Afghans are enjoying the Taliban rule and that is why I equated it to someone assuming Nigerians are enjoying Fulani rule when Fulani are clearly a minority. I am less concerned about the problems of either Nigeria or Afghanistan in my response because the parallel is only related to minority rule and the assumptions of contentment on the part of the majority.
