*NIGERIA AT 61: SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH PAYS HEARTFELT TRIBUTE TO THE VICTIMS OF GRUESOME KILLINGS IN ANAMBRA STATE*

…URGES ANAMBRARIANS TO AGGREGATE THEIR STRENGTH AND REMAIN UNITED IN THEIR FOCUS TO RESCUE ANAMBRA STATE FROM THE STRANGLEHOLD OF VIOLENCE AND INSECURITY

Today marks another significant milestone in our political history as our great country marks 61 Years of Independence from Colonial rule.

Today, as we commemorate the birth of our freedom, we must pay homage to our founding fathers who made monumental sacrifices in actualizing the prolonged struggle for freedom.

Given the gruesome shootings that have pervaded our dear State - Anambra over the past days, today is a day to pay a special heartfelt tribute to the victims of these heinous killings.

This year’s Independence day should serve as a day of renewing faith irrespective of our political or religious differences. Each of us have a duty to build the bright and prosperous Nigeria which we dream. Today, let us remember the values that inspired the founding fathers of our great nation. Let us use this occasion as an opportunity to forge ahead unitedly and find solutions to our shared challenges.

Ndi Anambra, in the past days, I have reached out to our Governor; Chief Dr. Willie Obiano through personal and public channels of communication on the urgent need to proactively tackle this hydra headed security menace bedeviling the entire State.

However, I urge us all to remain steadfast, resilient and hopeful for a better tomorrow. At this trying and challenging period characterized by violence and unrest in Anambra State, we must aggregate our strength and be united in our focus to rescue our beloved State from the stranglehold of violence and insecurity.

Once again, I want to use this opportunity to extend my heartfelt commiseration to the family and friends of victims of the despicable shootings that occurred yesterday. My prayers and thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy. It is my sincere hope and prayer that this tragic incident will be the last of its kind.

May God grant our prayers for love, peace and unity and the bond of brotherhood in our Nation.

Happy Independence day!

*Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Ubah.*
*Anambra South Senatorial District.*

Senator Andy Uba was reading when late CBN governor malafia told us fulanis will start killing of high rank citizens in southern Nigeria. And they will start war by 2022 before he was killed on 11 September 2021.. yet nobody was asking him question...
fulanis are now on operation devide and rule tactics... they know BIAFRA is coming as soon as possible, they will kill innocent igbos and find a way to tag IPOB in it.... that's the tactics they have been using to rule the yorubas and igbos.. they are even now using igbos names to comment rubbish against IPOB..
