*SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH PAYS VISIT TO GREENFIELD ESTATE.*

Two days ago, as part of his chains of activities since he arrived Lagos, after a detour to ijebu igbo where he took part in observing the final funeral rites for his deceased friend Late Senator Buruji Kashamu. Distinguished Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah visited the popular Greenfield Estate in Amuwo Odofin, Ago road on the invitation of Executives and Residents of the area who are predominantly Igbo's.

It was a carnival like atmosphere even as the residents(landlords and tenants alike), organised themselves on short notice and turned out massively to give the Distinguished Senator, Ikemba Ndi Igbo, a heroic welcome and reception.

Speakers at the occasion took turns to eulogise the Senator's astute performances especially his exploits thus far at the red chambers, where he has since gone ahead to earn for himself the sobriquet "Prince of the Senate" from his colleagues.

The Chairman of the estate , Chief Nnanna Achiugo (Igwurube) in his remarks, thanked the Senator for making out time to visit them, and attested that one of the remarkable attributes of the Senator, is his grassroot style of always being around and in touch with his people.

He predicted that the Distinguished Senator will be the next Govenor of Anambra state.

He also thanked the Distinguished Senator for his relationship and interventions for Ndi Igbo in the commercial sector, especially in Lagos State, and for his numerous strategic bills and motions at the red chambers..

He went ahead to recount with nostalgia the various interventions by the Distinguished Senator in coming to the aid of our people, doing business in Lagos especially by deploying his enormous personal contacts with the Lagos State Government.

The Distinguished Senator in his response expressed his joy at the warm reception and assured the August gathering that he will continue to drive the narrative of people's oriented open door policy, a style that is geared towards the emancipation of our people.

He told them that as a business man, just like the majority of them at the gathering are, that his foray into politics is to change the status quo and introduce a positive difference in the manner democracy dividends are delivered to our people, as well as to change the false belief that governance is rocket science.

He assured them that his present exploits at the Red Chambers is merely a tip of the iceberg as his vision for a greater, egalitarian Igbo society will be spurred by a greater Anambra under his watch.
