The other thing Igbo people feel strongly about in equal measure is FREEDOM. In a typical Igbo mind, denial of freedom is the greatest form of injustice, and for that he or she can do anything. People who are here to pick fights are wasting their time. ![]() |

engrfaruq:Biafra did not lose the war because of foreign backing of FG. Biafra did not want war. Ojukwu did not want war, and did his best to avoid war. The war was imposed on Biafra. As for freedom, it is never given internationally; it is taken locally. The international community merely rubber-stamp local reality. Events in different parts of the world settled this point. |

Useless chest beating. Meanwhile you are killing your innocent men, women and children in the name of fighting injustice. |

tommy589:It's a gang up! Yorubas always go behind the back to cook up all sorts of devilish alliances with these foreign fulanis only to start acting like they're innocent of all accusations when the shit hits the fan. |

engrfaruq:you totally missed the point of the OP, what he is saying is that the quintessential Igbo man will fight the devil with bare hands in his quest for justice..............in the state of emotional rage the Igboman can be foolhardy, in my opinion, the greatest mistake Buhari will make is to start a scorched earth policy of intense military engagement in the southeast....it will only unify disparate opinions in Igboland and I tell you the Igbos will fight Nigeria again.....sad but true! Buhari should swallow his pride and engage the aggrieved IPOB/ESN group and seek a possible solution. |

onumadu:Brother, you are spot on. Igbo man worships justice as enshrined in OFFOR NA OGU (meaning JUSTICE AND EQUITY) An Igbo man stoutly believes in the custom of LIVE AND LET OTHERS LIVE (EGBE BERE UGO BERE) You are 200%correct! |

DOTian:Are you referring to Nnamdi Azikwe the foremost Igbo leader that went crawling in the middle of the night to form an alliance with the foreign Fulani ?? Alex Ekwueme was a manservant to a Foreign Fulani in 1979 . Sylvester Ugor , another Igbo was forming an alliance with the foreign Fulani in the 3rd Republic. Any one with a single digit IQ know how Yorubas were mainly in the opposition until the ACN/CPC ( Tinubu/Buhari) alliance brought the current government in 2015. Nigeria did not start in 2015 and that is the reason why your hypocritical noise moves no one . You lots were the most patriotic Nigerians during the locust years of the PDP. What is happening in Nigeria is not new. Your fore fathers responded to the collapse of their alliance with Fulani NPC by killing the political and military leaders of other zones while sparing yours . IPOB is a knee jerk response to your transient loss of relevance at the centre . But the good news is that; you'd get the short end of the stick as usual ![]() |

A very good point for our Igbo neighbors to learn and digest. Igbos are born that way, to always reject injustice. Call it stubborness, call being troublesome, one thing for sure is that they will always resist injustice. And they are vocal and direct about it. If Nigeria was founded on equity and justice, there won't be all these troubles. |

IkpuMmadu:How is that stupidity ![]() You don't sit comfortably on top a tree and be screaming "I'm tired of sitting up here" without making attempt to come down. I've never seen any effort by you guys to cut your investments in other people's lands and yet you're screaming for some Utopian Biafra. Is that not hypocrisy? |

engrfaruq:Oga you either need to change your glasses or pay closer attention. The cities of South east have been growing in leaps and bounds for the recent past few years. If you have not been to Enugu or Onitsha or even Abakaliki or ANY south east city since last ten years, you will get lost if you venture there today. You wan try? One thing about Igbo people is that they don't do gra gra. They put their money where their mouths and hearts are. They vote by ACTION. Have you wondered why the Naira has been falling recently? You can believe whatever you like though. |
