Please help!!!
While WhatsApp, Facebook & Instagram were experiencing difficulties I got a debit alert from my access bank account

I have tried to think if I used my card on any site but the only platform I use my card is on the 3 aforementioned. I checked the description and saw the biller as Seerbit Lagos. Truth is this is my first time of seeing that company name.

I don’t know what to do cos 2,000 naira is big money under Buhari regime o!!!

Someone said maybe the hackers that hacked Facebook and others were responsible for selling users bank details to Nigerian scammers. Did anyone else experience unexpected debit?

Just like someone suggested here, I contacted Accessbank via my mobile app live chat and they just refunded me the N2,000 that was debited.

De did same to me months back I payed complain on dia chat customer service via dia app....after 3weeks de refunded me

Na so UBA do me sometimes last year Everytime na so dem go debit me and I over look it cos the population in the bank was too much and with the covid 19 protocols suffer in the bank was just too much so I always over look them without any complaint or visiting the bank until one day when I was paranoid I sent them messages threatening them and it was that time endsars was rocking and my message wasn't just a may threat I really meant to burn down the bank including their staff inside, really meant it cos I was so angry, immediately they saw my message that night they sent me messages pleading with me to calm down that they gonna rectify the issue but that didn't go down well with me. The next day I suspended everything visit the bank. When I got there the crowd was much as usual, people queued up with numbers as usual, I went straight to the bank na so some stupid securities wanted to play me their usual covid 19 protocols tape I nack them comot with anger some staffs on hearing the heat outside rush out and couldn't curtail my anger as I was so boiled up and couldn't even explain they were so afraid cos na so endsars d take start I wasn't relenting on my fire threat. They call the police for whereeee, I increase the volume and police officers were hiding then. They suspended everybody and everything rush me inside as not to instigate the crowd who were already yearning in louder tones, 1 for allowing me to go in before them who were already waited since 7am. 2, most of the people gathering there was similar issue with mine. People were shouting. They rush me in attended to me immediately and promised that all my money will return within 24 hours. The Bank Manager even give me her number should Incase it hasn't returned I should call her, omo I left within 2 hours I started receiving alert, all my money returned including some I had forgotten returned

I did a little check on Google just now and saw that SeerBit is a payment platform like FlutterWave (I think), I think your data has been compromised somehow.


If the 2k that was debited is the max that can be debited from your account (say, you had 2,450 in your account previously), then there could be a bigger problem than earlier thought



If you had more than 2k, that's about up to 10l and more and only 2k was debited, you may still have some hope of refund or finding out the real perpetrator.

Access bank is just a scammer bank...

Myself, I'm currently tired of Access Bank, they keep removing N50... I think monthly from my both accounts for electronic transfers.

I don't experience these from my other banks.... Just Access.
