We cannot preach equity to the extent of denying the South of the next President. North is also not equitable. Both Yar Adua and Buhari are from the North West, while North East and North Central were docile. For now, believe me, I have come to the conclusion that South East is not prepared to produce the next president, believe me. OK, who in the East is campaigning to be President in APC or PDP? I now believe that for now, power should be zoned strictly between North and South rather than micro zone it to geopolitical zones. Once it is zoned to the South, let the ticket be thrown open to every politician in the South to contest, same when it is zoned to the North.
