There was wide jubilation in Aiono ward 1 (Odoba) in Ogbadibo LGA on Friday (Ist October 2021) as a business mogul and philanthropist, Hon. Enemari Victor Silas sought the blessings of his kingsmen to run for Ogbadibo state constituency in the forthcoming 2023 state assembly election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The consultation which was meant for only his extended family and ward, took another twist as people from across the Ogbadibo LGA of Benue state, overwhelmed the venue of the declaration to identify with the young political leader. Youths were heard chanting “Youth O,Clock” while displaying his campaign posters, while women and children who have benefited from his philanthropic gesture in the past, danced out of jubilation.

The Ogbadibo state constituency which according to sources, has suffered shabby representation for years, had their grim expressions turned into pleasant countenance of hope, pating themselves in the back and raising the confidence that quality representation will soon beam its touch-light on the long suffering people of the constituency with the election of Hon. Victor Enemari Silas.

Hon. Victor Silas who identified with the yearnings and aspirations of the good people of Ogbadibo, apologized for the long years of lack of effective and robust representation of the constituency, assuring the people that it is time for them to enjoy the dividend of the democracy they have invested and kept faith in over the years.

Royal fathers, elders and priests of the constituency prayed for the success of his ambition as women, youth and children threw their weights behind his people-driven aspiration.

Hon. Victor Silas is a young entrepreneur who is reaping from the goodwill his kind gesture has sown in the lives of Ogbadibo people. He is running for the position of Ogbadibo state constituency on the platform of APC.

He has killed more persons with his non payment of salaries and pensions than the herdsmen he often criticizes. A lot of aged pensioners are dead for not being able to afford healthcare.
