Mayeldah:are we having a senate for the first time? Why didn't GEJ make that happen when he was there as the president? |

barcaboi:Why are you so comfortable with the rubber stamps we have there? The legislature is not supposed to be a mere appendage of the executive. |

Lawlab249:When we didn’t have rubber stamp; we cldnt get PIB to be passed into law for ages, police bill wasn’t passed, budget padding and passing wld take ages as well as many important ones like LG and judicial autonomy, increased minimum wage wey una governors even fought against. All I need now is reduction of senate funds but u need senators to pass that. |

barcaboi:All these "wonderful" bills were passed and things only got worse for the common man on the street, compared to when the last assembly was in charge. That is all that matters to the masses, not the lofty names they are clad in. I needn't reel out dozens of worthy bills the last assembly passed. |

Lawlab249:The last admin had oil at the very highest benchmark; no local production and u think it was sustainable? They subsidized fuel yet there was always hoarding and queues. Incase u missed it there was a global disaster called covid and many countries are struggling to come out of it even the developed countries. Only thing helping them was a system; no landlord cld throw pple out randomly because the FG wld crackdown on them. Here is d opposite; Nigerians took advantage to hurt fellow Nigerians. |

barcaboi:Listen, the oil is recovering. We are beginning to see all time highs. Forget oil for a moment and come to the ground so you could see what's actually happening. The standard of living is taking a dip. Cost of living is spiking. The economy is not doing so well because of the lacklustre performance of the handlers of our economy under this dispensation, where appointment is characterized by nepotism. The inflation we currently experiencing is artificial. You increase vat, increase electricity tariff, fuel pump price etc, don't you see that manufacturers are going to pass on the cost to consumers? Without a commensurate increase in wages, that's effectively plunging millions of Nigerians into poverty. I bought a bag of pure water #120 two weeks ago. Went to restock this week and it is #250. Asked what happened, they said the cost of materials has gone out of the roof. Meanwhile, my earnings has remained constant (if not plummeting). Many Nigerians can't afford to buy drinking water now. This is just an instance. Sir, forget the lofty names you hear on radio or read in papers. Come to the street so you understand that all those are hogwash. |

SaiOsinbajo:I beg to differ. The common men have a common enemy. The common enemy polarizes the common men along religious, tribal and political lines. They pit countryman against fellow countryman. How are you not seeing all these? |
| Re: Abaribe Lied On PIA Comments, Says Lawan, Warns Against Press Interviews by SaiOsinbajo: 3:13pm On Oct 08, 2021 |
Lawlab249:I'm seeing all of it but I insist the common man is the common man's problem. |
