Don’t mind him. Since 1999, the SS has always supported the PDP. Except when Edo went to ACN with Oshiomhole and later APC.

For the SE, they’ve danced between PDP, PPA, APGA and APC since 1999.

1. Anambra have been in the hands of APGA since 2008.

2. Imo have danced in between PDP, PPA, APGA and APC. Imo is the most liberal and politically enlightened state when it comes to SE politics until recently when the indigenes began following MNK sheepishly.

3. Abia has been a PDP state except when Theodore Orji had a 4 years stint with PPA (thanks to OUK).

4. Ebonyi has been a PDP state until Umahi decamped to the APC

5. Enugu is the only state that has remained exclusively PDP since 1999.

For equity sake the PDP owes Enugu a lot of debt while the APC owes Imo a great degree of debt as well for their support all these years.

While all these were happening, the SE has been voting the PDP in the Presidential elections, except when a few sympathy votes was given to Ojukwu with 1million votes in 2003 under APGA. Yet Obasanjo still won over Ojukwu with mass rigging by clanish godfathers in the SE.

They served their master (peedeepee) meritoriously for 22 years.
Yet, their master said they are not good enough.

And they called themselves the wisest.

It's a democracy. Everyone gets to vote. It's more about who is likeable enough or able to get allies to win over the people in enough different regions to win.

The parties must present a person dt can do dt if they want to win. If it's a SE candidate, he must still lick ass wt elders/influential pple in all the other regions like the past democratic presidents or he won't win. Facts.

Dokpesi is right, a SE candidate in PDP is a 100% automatic win for any southern candidate in APC.

If PDP main aim is to come back to power, their best bet is a Northerner like Atiku.

However, looking at the pattern of voting since 2007, I can confidently say any southerner that wants to win election in 2023 will need Buhari support, even if it’s a SW candidate.

I repeat Buhari support is very key. Anyone that he supports openly and campaign for in 2023 will emerge.

I know some people will say Buhari will not be contesting in 2023 and that will change the pattern, but what I want us to understand is that so far Buhari openly support and campaign for that southern candidate, the votes in those states are sure to like 80% confidence.

Atiku is just an overrated politician, when he contested in 2007 he couldn’t get up to 3million votes on his own. He can only use the party structure to garner vote which was why he was able to get those 2019 votes number. Any PDP candidate from even the South will win all those states Atiku won in 2019 except probably Adamawa.

PDP is not even offering the SE VP slot. They are looking towards SS for the VP.

What the SE has to do first is to resurrect the alliance between the SS and SE. The alliance that was the backbone of GEJ, against regions that wanted to crush the SS because they dared to aspire to be president over Nigeria.

That is the first thing the SE has to do. That will mean that the SSSE alliance will have 11 southern states.

With these 11 states, it will be easier to start building broadbased national alliances. In fact with this 11 etate alliance, all that will be needed is two extra regions to take over the nation. The middlebelt can be swayed to join, making it an alliance of 3 regions. One more willing region immediately tips the scale in favour of the SS/SE alliance.
