Please Fellow nairalanders, they just called me that a cousin of mine have been coughing for the past 3 weeks even after taking two bottles of cough serup and many other prescribed dosages of tablets, the cough is still persisting.

What could be the problem and possible solutions. I would like experts in thee house to advice for both local and english remidies.

Take the person to the hospital for a full blood count test immediately. Though infections are common causes of cough. And I can b cleared by antibiotics but you need to go to the hospital to be sure.

have you ever heard of iko feere before? It's a chronic type of cough that doesn't go easily but herbal stuff will clear the mucus and the cough will stop

Maybe it's COVID-19.... or can be bronchitis. That's how.my COVID-19 began..... dry cough.... spat nothing.

Eat raw ginger every day or mix with gaic but make sure your mouth no go smell always eat in the night so u wash it in the morning..

Pls, tell him or her to go for TB test, failure to do so, the cough will continue, eyes will look pale, body becomes lean, then later moved to coughing out blood(DR TB), and if care is not taking it leads to death. Most important... It is highly contagious.

It was a testing time for me, took drugs every day for complete 6months. That was 4 years ago

Earlier this year, I coughed for 2 good solid straight months . I saw hell, in-fact cough is a very disturbing illness . I was constantly coughing morning, afternoon and night nonstop , no rest. I took the almighty bitter kola, it didn’t work.

It was a nurse with cough experience who treated me. She gave me a cough syrup mixed with so many drugs that ended my ordeal. I think God honestly.
