truthCoder:the Bible said it is only a fool that says in his heart that there is no God but bross, do you know that your ability to deny the existence of God alone is a proof of his existence?...I don't know how you guys reason even to the point of thinking you are making sense when you talk about God the way you do!. Just look at yourself in the mirror and see how well positioned your body parts were created to perform different functions such as the stupidity you tend to exhibit out of ignorance. You better start asking yourself and arguing with yourself how it was possible for you to come into existence by accident or by anything you believe brought you here outside a supernatural God.. |

Mr Righteous instead of all these small small things being revealed by God as evidence of his existence don't you think giving us cancer cures, taking away HIV, Alzheimer, cerebral palsy, numerous childhood fatal illnesses, etc would be a better way to reveal his works, word and love for mankind. Instead showing us evidence of mass killings through flood and flames. Righteousness2: |

Nadaken:You are very funny o. Wine is an english word right ?? Please, look up the dictionary definition of wine Moreover, the write up said The wine is aged in elongated amphorae, known as 'Gaza jars'. (Third paragraph to the bottom) ever heard the saying that wine tastes better as it gets older. Can you say thesame for 'grape juice'. Abegi, dont drink wine so that you can get a hold of yourself and avoid misbehaviour due to drunkenness, not because wine was condemned by the bible. this is what you should preach |

Your church frowns against drinking these wine's and here you are using a wine factory as a basis of your Faith's validation. Please let's follow our Church doctrine to the letter. Not twist it when it favours us and our self righteousness. Thanks |

Ever8090:which of the gods? There are around 4,600 so choose carefully. If you are choosing one of the two gods that the African colonialists brought, then your own mental slavery is still pro plus max. The colonialists brought christianity and islam and our country is still doped with them. One stinker...the british on one hand claim the bronze gods you were worshipping were bad but took them to their museums as artefacts...lots of them. |

Nadaken:Oxford defines wine as "an alcoholic drink made from fermented grape juice." Let no man deceive you. Non alcoholic wine is a modern invention by the business industry to appeal to the myopic tastes of people who don't want alcohol and who still want to pretend to be taking wine. Every single reference of wine even in the bible was of the alcoholic variety, despite all attempts to literally water it down. Even the wedding story showed that the guests were so drunk they did not know the difference between freshly fetched water and the wines they had been drinking. Timothy was advised to take a little wine for his heart. The book of proverbs advised against taking too much wine as it breeds vices. Finally, read the article well. They found warehouses for ageing the wine. Do you know how wine is made and how it gets its alcohol? Via simple fermentation. |

truthCoder:you have not said anything not all wine is alcoholic and it's not about what Oxford tells you. Exodus 16:19-36 ERV Moses told them, “Don’t save that food to eat the next day.” But some of the people did not obey Moses. They saved their food for the next day. But worms got into the food and it began to stink. Most Practicing Jews have an history of not saving food for the next day which kicks the fermentation process Wine is considered food because it is mashed grape that still gives you main food vitamins I agree that their are alcoholic wines but their was also non alcoholic wines even at that time Acts 2:5 For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it’s only nine in the morning. Alcoholic Wine according to the Bible history was taken at the evening part of the day How then do you explain the water that Jesus turned into wine at cannan during the day and you say it's alcohol when alcohol is taken at night 1 Thessalonians 5:7 For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. The wedding guests weren't drunk, Jesus turned water into wine for a miracle and they would compare tastes John 2:10 “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. Does the above people who are comparing good wines and bad wine look drunk to you, or do you know a good or bad wine in an high state? Mind you the drunk in the passage is the past particle for drink not necessarily been high This is why Peter was labelled as saying rubbish at pentecost because incoherence comes from been high not sound observation like the wedding guests There are alcoholic and non alcoholic wines For Timothy he had an illness and it is clearly obvious to anyone with a brain that the context of wine in that statement is talking about an herbal liquid remedy that cures illness not necessarily an alcohol that gets one high 1st Timothy 5:23 Aramaic Bible in Plain English Do not drink water from now on, but drink a little wine because of your stomach and because of your chronic illness. Again not all wines must go through fermentation if you don't want alcohol The argument isn't about wether alcohol wines wasn't produced but that there was non alcoholic wines too which is what Jesus gave the wedding guest at day against the night were alcoholic ones are served |

Nadaken:Please don't exhibit online ignorance. Wine is part of jewish rituals. There is even a kosher wine which differs from other wines only because it was not worked on during the sabbath. Choose your arguments carefully and do research before responding. any wine that is marketed as non-alcoholic is by definition a sparkling drink....a drink that mimics a real wine but is not. |

Nadaken:I find it sarcastic that i have to explain the Bible to you but i will. Religious pundits always like quoting a small part of the whole story to support their theories. Which food in particular was Moses addressing? The fabled manna that fell. Don't twist it beyond that. Have you jewish friends? Have you even been inside a jewish home? Have you eaten kosher food? You have not possibly yet you want to sound like an authority on jewish rites. What do jews store inside their fridges? When quoting the wedding miracle story. Please read carefully. The passage you quoted is clear. The party MC was commenting that the normal thing is to first serve the good wine when people were still sober before bringing out the general cheap wines when they could not decipher the tastes anymore. He was asking why they kept the good wine till after people had gotten drunk. Read the passage again slowly and apply common sense. In the bible times, there was nothing called non-alcoholic wine. The bible never mentioned it once. All wine was alcoholic. You were either drinking juice from grapes or taking wine...no middle ground. Evidently, Jesus and every other person at that period took wine. What do you think people did on Sabbaths? Kindly mention the name of the herbal drink you claim Timothy took. Don't beat around the bush on this one.. mention the name. Since you claim the Bible translators were wrong in explicitly calling it a wine instead of your invented herbal drink theory. Once again, wine in the bible times was alcoholic. Prove me wrong by quoting relevant sources to back your claim that Jesus and other Jews took 'non-alcoholic' wines. PS: Attached is a meat shop in Tel-Aviv. What do you think happens to all the meat when they close in the evening since you said they don't eat yesterday's food?

Righteousness2:Mr Righteousness, do you know a time will come in the future where people will make reference to all our actions today and they will term it the lives of an ancient world, so many generations have lived before we were born and millions of generations will still live after we have gone... The world will continue to exist no matter how worst it is and what makes you think our generation is the last generation |

truthCoder:I find it funny that you that haven't quoted a single Bible passage is the one saying you are explaining bible I have quoted entire passages here on events not small highlight, but you haven't quoted one unless bringing stuff out of your imagination If we must debate Bible history you must use the passages by the way calling me Religious pundits exposes you as a athiest with insufficient knowledge Now all the events that transpired in the wilderness, God commanded Jews to keep practicing them for eternity as a remembrance below verse says even when they enter the promised Land. Exodus 12:25-27 When you enter the land which the Lord will give you, as He has promised, you shall observe this rite Below verse says the Passover of sprinkling blood on door continues Deuteronomy 16:1-8 “Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover to the Lord your God, for in the month of Abib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night. You shall sacrifice the Passover to the Lord your God from the flock and the herd, in the place where the Lord chooses to establish His name. You shall not eat leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat with it unleavened bread, the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste), so that you may remember all the days of your life the day when you came out of the land of Egypt. Below verse explains that not only was manna commanded not to be eaten overnight, taking food and drinks fermented overnight are not permitted by Yaweh going so long as Jews keep obeying pass over forever Exodus 34:25 “You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread, nor is the sacrifice of the Feast of the Passover to be left over until morning. You can keep crying about the present day Jews taking alcohol it doesn't change what the olden days Jews practised in their laws So how do people get sober in a supposed wedding necessitating been drunk Do you even think at all? It's not about what you think it's about what the Bible says, the basics of our forensic study here shows that alcohol was taken at night and this wedding was in the day Acts 2:5 For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it’s only nine in the morning. 1 Thessalonians 5:7 For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. So Mr Man how come Bible history reports people only get drunk cum at night but you are you are the one that created Jewish culture |

Nadaken:I will be brief with you. I am using your quotes to explain the logic behind the story to you as you are bent on twisting simple english readings. Your ability to quote Bible passages means zilch if you don't know the story behind those passages. It also doesn't lend credence to you. Passover is a celebration that lasts only 7 days. Stop quoting passover rituals as a justification for claiming jews don't eat yesterday's food. Following this logic, that means muslims too should eat ram every day or sango worshippers should kill dogs every time they wake up. As you claim to be a christian, you have a very poor knowledge of the passover. During ramaddan, muslims fast. Does that mean all muslims must go without food forever? Do you even take alcohol? Even up till today, when do people generally drink in the world? No be after work? Does that mean drinks suddenly loose their alcohol contents during the day? I asked you to prove that the drinks of the Bible times didn't contain alcohol but you have rambled on. Have you attended a real wedding recently? Do people wait until night to serve alcohol or immediately food is being served? Let me explain slowly to you. The time of the day does not change the alcoholic contents of drinks. The wine served during the wedding story was alcoholic. If you claim otherwise, share proofs. Stop trying those church tricks here where you quote only one small portion of the bible and add your own interpretations. You have not answered my questions.... I will ask again: What is the name of the herbal drink you claim Timothy took? Show me any portion of the Bible that proves that Jesus and the Jews of his time took non-alcoholic wines. Tell us what happens to food that is not consumed same day in Isreal since you claim they don't eat yesterday's food. |

truthCoder:An athiest that doesn't believe in the bible but want to argue the history of the bible with the one who believes is this not madness My ability to quote the Bible shows I am grounded in the historical antecedents of my Bible and why they happen Your inability to know Jack shows you are clueless about Bible history and antecedents Jews are commanded by Yaweh not to eat any day leftover meal or drink and that is the law You can't be blabbing without quoting and referencing the archeological, historical heritage of the Jews which is their Torah/Bible Scientists who are even athiest still use Bible passages to trace anything concerning jews Yaweh gave his laws for a memorial, Practicing Jews don't eat left overs whether passover or no passover (until I bursted you, you were saying it was only manna for the Jews in the wilderness for manna time, you have shifted goal post after knowing it's a law for ever) Genesis 32:32, NIV: "Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob's hip was touched near the tendon." What if i told you that Jews do not eat the tendon of a meat to date because an angel touched the hip of Jacob during wrestle. It's all practice and culture you don't tell people what they practice What muslim do is irrelevant because Muslims are not Yaweh chosen people, neither did Yaweh give me that law. I asked you a question which you are yet to answerJewish history records it that custom was to take alcohol at night, it was not possible to take alcohol during the day 1 Thessalonians 5:7 For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. If Jesus had broken Jewish laws by bringing alcohol in the wedding day time the Pharisees that were enforcing the laws would have sanctioned him I asked you to prove that the drinks of the Bible times didn't contain alcohol but you have rambled on. Have you attended a real wedding recently? Do people wait until night to serve alcohol or immediately food is being served? But Jews have a law on the time of day to serve alcohol, you are very shallow to be comparing one conservative tradition to the one without law guiding it in gentile wedding Let me explain slowly to you. The time of the day does not change the alcoholic contents of drinks. The wine served during the wedding story was alcoholic. If you claim otherwise, share proofs.1 Thessalonians 5:7 For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. Acts 2:5 For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it’s only nine in the morning Jews don't drink alcohol in the day, now bring proofs where they do? Stop trying those church tricks here where you quote only one small portion of the bible and add your own interpretations.Ok can you bring your own portion of the Bible to help yourself too, e no suppose hard you, we are debating Bible here not from anus You have not answered my questions.... very lame, can you also tell me the colour of the dress Timothy wore?1st Timothy 5:23 Aramaic Bible in Plain English Do not drink water from now on, but drink a little wine because of your stomach and because of your chronic illness. The translation there is obviously referring to a tonic that heals wine is used there by the translaters for easier comprehension Your concern should be the function of the solution because alcohol that intoxicates doesn't heal "chronic illness" |

You see, we Christians especially the pentecostal Christians do not know anything. They constitute the population that brings mockery to the Christian faith. They talk/argue blindly and term it faith. Sometimes, you end up mocking the God you think you are defending with your vague and baseless claims. |

rex21:I actually figured out your question is irrelevant as I have trashed that already why exposing the other ignorant athiest that has since run away after complaining I back my debate with too many solid scriptures which leaves him shallow So quoting you is just a duplication This is the Deuteronomy 14:26 ◄ Deuteronomy 14:26 ► New King James Version And you shall spend that money for whatever your heart desires: for oxen or sheep, for wine or similar drink, for whatever your heart desires; you shall eat there before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household. So what is your point exactly? Go and get educated, the ignorance you speak of is from your mirror |

Since we obviously have different footings and you choose to be tied to your flawed beliefs, i'd leave you to it. Its your prerogative. That something shouldn't be done doesn't mean it is bad. The English in the bible is simple, but your lot chose to confuse people.
