Update From . COM

A man has been dragged by Facebook users for a post he made, calling on the Lagos State Government to introduce mode of dressing for women in the state, Reports.

As Sighted By , The man took a photo of an unsuspecting woman in public and posted it on Facebook.

He then condemned her appearance and asked that women's mode of dressing be regulated, Reports.

However, rather than get support, he got comments asking why he's obsessed with what a woman is wearing. Others asked why he took a photo of a woman going about her business.

Tokunbo Omolase said: "Special appeal to Governor Sanwo Olu: Kindly introduce mode of dressing for ladies in Lagos state, how can a lady dress like this at 8.04 am, Tuesday, 12th October, 2021 and leave New Garage Bariga in public commercial bus for Lekki in Lagos."

“If parents and family members are not checking mode of dressing should government avoid their responsibility for a good Society.”
This one is a pervert pro max, no doubt

Your analysis would have made sense if only indecently dressed women got raped, people are raped in churches, schools and at work. Many are covered from head to toe and still got raped.....so be quiet! Nigeria's problem with rape is easy to solve, train women on self defense and rape cases will drop dramatically. From pepper sprays to kicking men in the nuts to carrying switch knives. There are more indecently dressed women in the USA than Nigeria yet Nigeria is matching them statistically when it comes to rape.....What does that say about your pathetic logic? Anatomy or no anatomy in scorching hot heat, a woman has the right to dress lightly, she has the right to wear shorts or spag or whatever, get this into your head! You are worried about your children seeing indecent dressing, well isn't that ironic, if you can't control your own children what makes you think you can control full grown adults? When my siblings and I were little in the mid 80s to early 90s, whenever we saw unclothedness we immediately closed our eyes, it was instinct based on training, parents did not need to go out and fight everyone that didn't dress appropriately....lol. Pick your battles wisely!

Furthermore, another clue that shows you know not of what you write is your view on ethics, you seem not to know the difference between ethics and morals. An ethical person can be immoral and someone immoral can behave ethically. I suggest you stick to topics within your skillset.....Peace!

They might as well go out naked in public since there's no line drawn between what's acceptable and what isn't.

As adults shouldn't they know what's acceptable to wear in public if they had any brains to begin with without any sort of high handedness and it's typical of you woke mob to promote irresponsible behaviour and put the onus on others to sort out. Like asking people to protect their children from seeing irresponsible semi nude adults who refuse to put on decent clothes.

Get it into your skull, the most advanced countries still have standards when it comes to how people dress in public spaces. You don't go around exposing your nipples and whatnot, as we can see with some of these women in Nigeria.

Yes, women should train to defend themselves, like that'll totally solve the issues. A little bit of accountability and self awareness, I would imagine, will go a long way.

About ethics and morals, you must have comprehension issues. You don't espouse any of those attributes anyways
as a people. You're neither ethical or moral. At best you behave and think like heathens.

Stop being stupidly woke and have some standards as a people.

It's the little things that makes the difference.

Cheers.

You're only succeeding in portraying your ignorance, do you know what we call using extremes to support a position/argument? Hyperbole! FYI, majority of women are not exposing their nipples, majority of them are not exposing their butt cheeks, majority are not exposing their kpekus.....COME OFF IT! We are talking about a society that believes women on spags or shorts are exposing themselves even tho the weather is over 80 degrees F. We are talking about a society that cannot discern the difference between fashion and indecency. The USA has standards based on morals, you can't go full unclad, you can't just expose your nipples anyhow both males and females but they will never ban shorts or make laws that focuses solely on the female gender when it comes to dressing. Stop this your BS argument, I have lived in the states for a long time now and people like you are easily canceled by society because of your archaic views aimed at controlling every aspect of the female gender. It's not your body, it's not your family.....You have no rights on this matter......Take it or leave it, that's your problem bro not mine!

Ok I see , you have no clue about the situation of things in Nigeria with what these girls have become.

Remember you jumped into the argument without understanding the context.

I already addressed this in my response to the other lady that this particular topic isn't an issue but the general attitude towards seeing nudity as some sort of progressive ideal.

Your arguments does not align with the origins of the debate.

Essentially, a waste of time.

Remember, standards makes sense in whatever we do.

Between, why complicate a simple suggestion encouraging women to dress appropriately and be aware of the babarism that exists in the society in which they live?

No, you won't accept that, you have to interject conjectures that doesn't correlate and failing willfully at being smart.

Anyways, got to go.

Be good and ponder on how this recklessness of thought and logic is failing Nigerians.

AxeofGod:
This one is even modest. Come to Uyo and see something. The thing is there is no need to beg women to dress moderately since their children will suffer the consequences.

When women dress provocatively in numbers it becomes increasingly difficult to raise upright men in society. The ones who do not rape will get involved in vices to have the means to gratify the sexual cravings they acquire by looking at these half-dressed women.

These women dress half-naked but expect their little sons to grow up respecting womanhood.

To the males mentioning me
You encourage women to dress provocatively but expect men to control the very sex urges ignited by these same women; that's hypocritical. The same Bible that cautioned men not to fornicate also cautioned women to dress modestly. You can't separate one from the other.

You call the man a pervert for voicing the truth and think yourself a saint. A pervert is someone who does something morally wrong. So if you have sex outside marriage or do not consider it wrong to have sex outside marriage then you are a pervert.

Oga u are very stupid, control ur prick.
Ur libido erection shouldn’t be the reason why a lady shouldn’t dress as she please. U are a dirty disgusting pervert

But you didn't encourage women to dress decently, you threatened them with the law by supporting what the main subject in the opening post wanted. Like I said earlier, there is no way you can compare the indecency in the USA to Nigeria yet the USA has not gone commando and enact laws that resticts just one gender. If you don't see the problem here then you'll never see it! I have no problem with you advocating for women to dress decently, the problem is that you are only focusing on women thereby adding to the already heavy restrictions on women in the Nigerian society. It's like enacting rape laws and then saying women that rape men are not included....lol.

Which university is that? Keep allowing Ashawo from outside to keep claiming student in your schools. I had experience with a non student that will roam around the campus and pose by school gate waiting for potential customer everyday.
