In our current society, I don't think there's anything wrong with her dressing. Come to where I work (at a supermarket) and see how ladies dress; I've seen a lady wear pant with a very short round neck and I'm not making things up. Ladies intend to dress in a very provocative way...especially the under 25 year old ladies |

How wouldn’t he dragged in a society where many men are expecting a lady to expose more so they could watch unclothedness. That girl even tried. Come and see what married women are wearing in my street. You need to be extra strong not to misbehave |

neyoohhh: So men aren't contributing to decadence? It's what females choose to wear that is making morality extinct? The yahoo boys/fraudsters, kidnapping, ritualists, infidelity (astoundingly men), etc. Has not eaten up the moral fabric of Nigerian society? Lol. Please. You're trying so hard to act like you're operating on good faith, but you're not. Speaking of rape even, you trying to establish an association between "indecent" dressing and rape is YOU actively placing blame on the victim, thus contributing to rape culture. You're nothing but a rape apologist. Absolving men from crimes makes you a potential criminal and a suspect. Dressing provocatively is not an invitation for sex. There's literally no logical reason for one to rape anybody. None at all! And riddle me this, The women who wear hijabs/niqabs and still get raped, nko? What about little girls? What about women who dress decent and still get raped? The problem is not dressing. The problem is MEN and their sick psyche. You lot make justifications for your defectiveness and pathology. Simple and short. You evade accountability by shifting blame on women. There's nothing more to it so stop acting like you speak in the best interest of women, it's irritating. If you're not calling out double standards and chastising your fellow men to do better then I don't want to hear it. Save it for the birds. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

Hyerin: Not shifting the blame. The point is we have to start setting some standards for both genders. Ironically it's the Yahoo's pimping the women. Isn't that something! A line has to be drawn somewhere to halt this mess and it starts with accountability. Dress decently, stay away from drug's, report criminals and be a good citizen. Is that too much to ask? The madness of it all lies with people minimising issues that ought to be attended to and straw manning like you've done here with the response . Not surprised though, Nigerian men and women are equally useless and dumb with a few exceptions. Cheers |

neyoohhh: How come Nigerians always get worked up when it is a lady but when a man walks with singlet or half down boxers, we just smile? In a society where one set of rules applies to a certain gender and another to the other gender, it is no surprise that things fall apart! We want a society that controls everything a woman does, from the way she acts to the way she dresses and yet complain when such women grow up to be highly dependent on males......Culture or no culture, we need to mind our damn business! |

MufasaLion: I once asked a lady who is said to have a gift of seeing angels descending and ascending. you can see angels, she said yes. But how many angels do you see wearing tight fitted cloth and putting on maskara. She became dump because you won't find one. I Children of men think they are now civilized by their way of changing things. You re a man, Aren't you? Why dont you dress half naked and tell your fellow man that it is now a norm. The reason why most men support this kind of things is because it is convenient. Most men are moved by what they see. Lastly, don't always insult pple based on ur uncontrolled anger and ur immatured male ego. When I quote the lady, I didn't insult her. |

abbey621: Do men have the same anatomy has women? What does the statistics say about rape? Men who rape women are encouraging them to be more sexually expressive at their detriment. No we won't mind our business, because a lot of you are actual rapist's and love-vendor's but the girls don't get it yet. Between the public space isn't 18 rated & their are children watching. A people with no standards and ethics, not surprised. Like I said Nigerian women are a reflection of the men. |

Sijo01: Do you get so busy that you forget to eat food for two days? Let's not fool our self by pretending that the today's girls/women have not mastered the art of distraction and seduction. A destructive distraction for that matter. Even a Gibbon will twixt his head just at the passing of the girls of today. Seductive dressing is now being normalize on our street, offices, church etc. and yet your lot still think it is okay. What you girls have ingnorantly done is creating sexual tension, which not all men can resist. |

neyoohhh: There's no point. There's always been standards for females and barely for men. Until you start calling out double standards, please refrain from ever quoting me. You're no better than the brazenly misogynistic dim-witted scrotes on here. Even though you enjoy presenting as somewhat level-headed, you're still a chauvinist. Franzinni: Why don't you go and live in the forest nw since people don't possess your archaic mindset? If you see anything wrong with what that lady wore and see nothing wrong in taking pictures of her to post on social media, then you're the problem. Go and live in the bush. |

neyoohhh: Your analysis would have made sense if only indecently dressed women got raped, people are raped in churches, schools and at work. Many are covered from head to toe and still got raped.....so be quiet! Nigeria's problem with rape is easy to solve, train women on self defense and rape cases will drop dramatically. From pepper sprays to kicking men in the nuts to carrying switch knives. There are more indecently dressed women in the USA than Nigeria yet Nigeria is matching them statistically when it comes to rape.....What does that say about your pathetic logic? Anatomy or no anatomy in scorching hot heat, a woman has the right to dress lightly, she has the right to wear shorts or spag or whatever, get this into your head! You are worried about your children seeing indecent dressing, well isn't that ironic, if you can't control your own children what makes you think you can control full grown adults? When my siblings and I were little in the mid 80s to early 90s, whenever we saw unclothedness we immediately closed our eyes, it was instinct based on training, parents did not need to go out and fight everyone that didn't dress appropriately....lol. Pick your battles wisely! Furthermore, another clue that shows you know not of what you write is your view on ethics, you seem not to know the difference between ethics and morals. An ethical person can be immoral and someone immoral can behave ethically. I suggest you stick to topics within your skillset.....Peace! |
