Two masquerades have been arrested for allegedly robbing a resident of Melege community in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The suspects identified as Sheriff Ojo and Muhammed Lukman allegedly robbed one Adinoyi Mohammed of N370,000 and his mobile handset. It was also learnt that they inflicted injury on the victim’s father, Saliu Ajayi before leaving the scene of the incident.

Ondo state police command spokesperson, Funmi Odulami who confirmed their arrest, said;

“The two suspects who paraded themselves as masqueraders, inflicted injury with cutlasses on one Adinoyi Mohammed, dispossessed him of the sum of ?370,000.00, a handset valued ?32,000.00 and a shirt valued at ?2,500.00.

“They also inflicted injury on the victim’s father, Saliu Ajayi before leaving the scene of the incident but they were apprehended by security agents within the town.

“Two cutlasses, charms and masquerade clothes were recovered from them and the two suspects had been arrested and will soon be charged to court while effort is ongoing to arrest the other fleeing masqueraders.”

If you used an email address that happens to be your official email address and it's linked to your Bank and BVN, I will say this especially if you don't come from a wealthy and political background that have numerous connect.

So many Nairalanders have said so many things against Government, individuals, Government Agencies (DSS, Army, police etc)
Just that this government isyet to make a scapegoat out of some persons because of their post here in nairaland. Don't think because nairaland is a faceless forum they can't locate you, that's a big lie it won't take Nigerian government 5min to access Seun and before you say jack, they have been given access to Nairaland database where your email address will be gotten including some vital information you filled in during registration which doesn't show in your profile (hidden from you or any other person )
I laugh when ever I hear people calling Buhari names, and that's different from criticism.
Just type this in the nairaland search icon "people that called buhari a terrorist" or anything this government might perceive as treasonable offense. You will be surprised what you will find.
So it's very easy to get anyone especially when the said email address is linked to your bank and bvn, and through your bank, your true identity will be revealed. They might start by freezing all your account
Just use the current case of Governor Umahi of Ebonyi State as a case study where his former aide was beaten and arrested over a post on Facebook where the governor perceived he was referring to him. He was handed 7years imprisonment because of that.
Let's not give them the opportunity they are seeking. Always stand responsible for what ever you post online.
