The lawyers said the South-East region should be allowed to produce the next president of Nigeria based on the principle of federal character.

Allowed, how? And why? Should every party be made to nominate a South-Eastener and everyone be made to vote for them, or do we abandon democracy and nominate a South-Eastener?

Leave those people.... One thing I hate about them is their hypocrisy, and they have very short memory.

They think that without fielding two Yorubas in the two major parties in 1999 , they can ever win presidential election.

That their hypocrite behavior is what they are showing now .... Some of their people here keep shouting that presidency is not given but a game of number and they are the ones crying that north should not contest.

They shout southern unity but run mad when ever they hear anything like to support South East or South South candidate for 2023.

What southern unity mean to them is to surppot only yoruba candidate... How will other southern leaders work with such greedy people

Yes. That's what should be done.

It was done for the SW in 1999 after they agitated with their OPC militia. If it is done for the East heavens won't fall.

The remaining few Easterners who are still sitting on the fence and are still pro-nigeria on this issue are waiting for 2023 to come and go before they take a proper stand.

We'll wait and see.
