Islie:This news have actually thrown up some group of people: One group is masking their displeasure by dissing Igbos. They say PDP are using Igbos and that Igbos are really slaves in PDP. Another group thinks it's a masterstroke from the north. In their opinion, north is smarter and more sophisticated than the entire South. Another group are dragging PDP. After this short analysis, you will how correct you are. First, Igbos are not slaves in PDP and no one is using them. PDP is the only Pan Nigeria party and it was formed mainly to take over from the military. So there was a consensus behind PDP, that they will lead Nigeria. The conscience of the country is with them. On the other hand, APC wasnt formed to be in power. They're to bring checks and balances but at the period of formation, the kingmakers wanted to quell the violence that would've broken out in the north of power doesn't return to north. So it was an emergency situation. So, PDP got Igbos covered. Between 1999 to 2015, Igbos had 5 SP in PDP, Secretary of state and VP candidate. Two national chairmen, CBN gov, etc. Need I tell you that South East would've produced president in 2015, if Yaradua had finished successfully. He even pushed Soludo into contesting governor in 2010 to get him ready. When he died, GEJ sabotaged PDP in Anambra because he feared Soludo would've challenged him if he was to emerge. But that's a story for another day. Currently, the highest ranking opposition is Abaribe. He's an Igbo man. What about infrastructure? South East got her fair share under PDP. E.g. Onitsha-Owerri rd, flyover at Nkpor plus bridge head to tollgate in Anambra. Nigeria brewery in Enugu and many others I can state here. So all these and more were what Igbos enjoyed in PDP. However, currently there's an emergency. The emergency is that APC has made a big mistake by making the party all about SW and NW and there's a need to balance Nigeria because APC cannot handle Nigeria. They were not formed to be in government but to Checkmate the PDP excesses. Because of this urgent need, PDP will sacrifice the SE turn. And that can only happen with a northerner because the South have refused to speak with a voice. It is sealed and delivered: PDP is coming back to power in 2023. In fact, if Buni goes ahead with the congress, PDP will go unopposed in 2023. Except there's another arm of APC that will be legally backed to preside over the Congress. This will come to favor Igbo in the long run. I won't go into details about this. So Igbos are not slave, it's just strategic. Angry but smiling(APC minions) In fact, have you asked if NC is slave? No VP candidate, only 2 SP and party chairmen. Why over look that? Why overlook NE with only Atiku and Modu Sheriff? Are they slave two? Why will APC minions make it an Igbo thing? So they're not happy because this PDP move has destabilized them. They know it has put SW on check because once APC picks SW, PDP will go north and it's finished. They have sentiments of 2015 going for them, when SW ditched the South and went up north. So SE and SS may want to return the favor. North Smart? Not at all. North has never been smart politically. The advantage they have over the South dates back pre-independence era; and it was the Britian that set up the stage for them, cooked the constitution for them etc. Britain addresses north as north but sees South as SE SS and SW. So this kinda evoke survival tendencies among these southern regions. So one of them can wake up and meets the north for alliance. This way, the South becomes weaker in negotiations because they're coming in bits. North is not smart at all. Just a little meetings southern governors had are already causing unrest in the north. Southern leaders have even started poaching middle belt and it's beginning to weaken the north. So there's no smartness in this. It's just an expedient and strategic move by the PDP and the greedy characters in the South who has refused to back SE enabled it. |

Coronabirus:You're the one who is emotional plus living in denial. So the North is not responsible for 87% of the most poverty-stricken Nigerians abi? Most Northerners live in plush homes with Jacuzzis ba and the teeming population of almajiri kids, illiterate beggars and restive youths are just lies I made up ba to discredit the North? That is why nothing changes for many in Nigeria. I.e our incapacity for accepting the truth to then do something about it. When you're here denying the North is a region of abject poverty and deprivation, is it any wonder your elite and leaders see nothing wrong in how Northerners are living? |

SmartMen:Lol. You're just a typical IPOBian losers raised to hate respected and beloved Yoruba leaders, like Awolowo, to then maniacally support the Yorubas viewed by their own with scepticism and disdain like FFK and OBJ. If Tinubu is not a true Yoruba as you claim then you must explain why all Yoruba leaders, at every level of Yoruba society, are behind him today unanimously. Meanwhile 'beloved' Yoruba OBj was not the choice of Yorubas in 1999. Falae was. OBJ even had to beg for Yoruba support in 2003 to save him from electoral humiliation. You IPOBians are just uninformed haters. Stop talking about Yoruba core affairs because you know nothing about Yorubas. You only ever talk ignorantly and hatefully about the ethnic group. |

SmartMen:Nigga, I have no time for you. You quoted me. Yorubas started getting ready for 2023 from 2012. Go and get ready to be Fulanis slaves and b1tches as you IPOBians have historically become accustomed to. |

We are not after any party in 2023. It must be a southerner. We will play back their 2015 script for them. |

Grayoso:Lol Funny you, looks like you the indomie generation cos clearly you do not know the history of Nigeria in terms of Yorubas have always been the losing side. For your info The only time the Yoruba vote has ever counted was in 2015 elections prior to that time igbos held sway go check your history. The igbos n the north have always teamed up n 2023 would be no different. If Apc should produce a Yoruba candidate, that candidate would lose like never before recorded in Nigeria |

Grayoso:Is it North that push ur ppl into drugs peddle, domestic and international prostitution, human trafficking, baby factory business, yahoo scams, cultism and ritualism? Wake up and see the dangers around u rather than living in delusion and denials. Go to any of Dangote or BUA's company and see how our elite really do better than urs in terms of employing their kinsmen in ur land, go and see how vacancies are being filled by our ppl and learn how we move together. If not because of the wider gap between rich and poor or the ruled and the rulers how can a society allow what happened between southern youths and SARS to have happened around them, this can't happened in the North? It can't, because we won't take such intimidations and harassment and it is more unfortunately that the officers are all ur kinsmen and this showed how morally bad u are trained. Only in the North u will see almost all states giving out scholarships to their people annually to study abroad in professional disciplines. We may have almajiri begging but is it not better to beg than to send our teenage girls abroad for international prostitution? Go and see many YouTube videos showing how southern girls are selling sex in places not worthy for animals living in Italy, Spain and France. North may be poor due to our consciousness to right and wrong, but is it not better than how ur people are dying in Sahara between war ravaged Libya and Europe? Can't u be ashamed of the recent thousands of stranded Southerners saved from being trafficked for prostitution in Europe? The so called educated southern women are living in hell selling sex in war ravaged Libya, Mali, Burkina Faso all in the name of making dirty money. Many Southerners are into Yahoo scams, prostitution, and puahing hard drugs there by fetching them aggressive xenophobic attacks at Ghana, South Africa! Our name is being spoiled for the actions of ur greedy people into scams and drug pushing all over the world. Hundred thousands of ur people are rotten in prisons in many Asian, Europe and Latin; there are more than 30k Southerners in UK prisons and almost equal number in US prisons. Pls get it right and know that Northerners prefer to die poor than to engage in the dirty businesses u do. Pls try to see many YouTube documentaries of the dirty life ur people are desperately living in he name of making money! |

Coronabirus:Lol. An argument about how Northerners are by far the worst off Nigerians, in terms of socio-economic reality, you have managed to turn into an emotional rant and indictment against Southerners over morality and criminal conduct. Is that the topic under discussion overgrown toddler? This is why Nigeria is so fcked up. Not many Nigerians do reality. Instead most are sentimental, egotistic and highly irresponsible adults into denial far more than they are interested in corrective/reformational actions. Look at your pathetically attempt to deflect attention away from how Northerners live and the deplorable State of your region with a subjective and entirely irrelevant rant against Southerners. All this verbose, incoherent and extremist vitriol just because you feel personally disrespected about the reality you have been confronted with. The North does not need your defence of her because the region has enough of your kind, as a big part of the problem, in the form of failed and very ineffective leaders. Same leaders who see the abject state of their people everyday they were elected to remedy yet, rather than act to deliver solutions, prefer to bask in the delusional euphoria of 'we still better pass dem' moral superiority over others as you rant delusionally here. Obvious, with people like you constituting the ruling/elite class, why the North might be beyond redemption. If you and your fellow educated Northerners come off your moral high horse and spend less time luxuriating irresponsibly in feel-good denial of reality then there may be hope for your region and people. Yet I doubt egotistic hypocrites like you are capable of the sincere introspection required to reverse the rapid downward spiral of the North. |

JaroMan:Spot on...... As an Igboman I don't give a flying fvck about the emotional blackmail from SW. Yorubas will shout Southern unity , then go back to Lagos... Southern unity will be replaced with SWAGA. From your write up I think GEJ made a big mistake going for second term. But then BAT made a bigger mistake by joining hands with Northerners to install PMB against a fellow South. I like how you described APC.... They are not fit to manage Nigeria. They failed woefully. A party that careless about the constitution and federal character in a multi ethnic groups like Nigeria. But I disagree with you when you compared South East with North Central and North East. South East is a major stakeholder in the Nigerian project. North East and North Central can all be classified as Hausa/Fulani which is among the tripod that formed Nigeria. |

Very soon the yorubas and out of greed will fall out of national politics. You people always believe that ndi Igbo does not have political sense. If you people don't take time and play the politics of scratch my back and I scratch yours in the south, south west political circumstances in future will be worst than what ndi Igbo are facing today. You people should trade with caution. [4Happy weekend to you sir. May we continue to witness God's weekly favor.Amenquote author=Grayoso post=106750600]Lol. PDP playing Igbos like Ludo. Make a Northerner Party chairman to make it appear all zones, including SE, has a chance of becoming Presidential candidate of the Party. Meanwhile it is obvious PDP has already decided to field a Northerner courtesy of the 'contract' they ensured the new Party Chairman signed. All na 419 to bamboozle the naive and politically inept Igbos who only know how to bark at Yorubas and issue threats against their fellow Southerners while the North humiliates them publicly year in and year out. IPOBians will still Atiku-late last last so no wahala.[/quote] |
