you guys are slow if you want to merge do so already and let us see who you field but no you are just using us to play politics as usual you have never been serious about challenging apc or pdp so moghalu just shut up
You act as if it's a quick process to merge.

You have to make a new party constitution first off then
Come up with a common logo
A common vision
A common manifesto
A common motto
A common ideology

And you need to re elect an NEC board and restructure the party from bottom to top as in re electing each and every State executive council and replacing candidates with others from different parties etc.

It definitely isn't a quick process and has nothing to do with politics

Which Nigerian political party has an idology (none) manifesto/promises (yes) but they are all lies our dear apc is proof. for an election thats about 1 year away meaning they only have next year to merge, pick a candidate and run campaigns considering the logistics and funding needed is it realistic? i do not think so as no reasonable Nigeria would put their hope on a party that was just hurriedly put together and has not left any lasting impression on Nigerians.

We've always wanted this strong Third Force.

However let it be after 8 years of Adekunle's administration

This is Adekunle in the picture below
Adekunle is too old and not fit. Adeleke is even better.

I don’t mean Davido I mean the dancing Senator.

Reflect7:
That's your racial inferiority complex talking.

You as a 'black African', does that description represent/reflect YOU?

I'm sure your answer would be ''no''.

I find that sellouts like you always point to OTHER Africans as being deficient in some way.

You never include YOUR OWN SELF AND FAMILY in the calculus.

You should, if your head was screwed on right.

You should start by saying ''I AM A STUPID DUNCE who would eat the two cows one day, then beg and fast for 40 days''.

Start with YOURSELF as an African, before pointing at OTHER Africans.

You don't stand outside and point at your shadow.

Or be a droplet from a river who shuns the river as polluted.

That's called Cognitive Dissonance, a mental disorder.

If we are dumb, YOU and your mother and father are dumb and stupid too.

You are not exempt.
You were sounding until that moment you mentioned my father and mother. I am too sophisticated than exchanging words with you.

But being a cattle rearer qualifies Bubu?
TooNoisy:
Moghalu should go and contest for State Governor first, like Soludo.

Soludo would hopefully become governor of Anambra state after his stay as Governor of Central Bank. Moghalu should understand that he stands no chance of winning. Besides he is too politically naive to lead a complex country like Nigeria. Being a Central Banker does not automatically qualify you to be president!

By ideology I mean socialism, social democracy, capitalism etc.

There's a party manifesto separate from a candidates manifesto

If the party is large and has influential Nigerians that the people believe are good then they'll vote for them

nothing stop u from at least casting ur vote on some other party other than apc or pdp
Actually I did because I at the time thought like you, i.e let's encourage one of these other candidates. I have since realized that while it sounds well in theory, it is a wasted vote and i would have been better off sitting at home. It is better voting for which party you think is the lesser of 2 evils than wasting your vote on a party that has no hope and isnt growing either. It is a different thing if a party starts today and grows but these ones are not growing so they will be perpertually wasting people's votes.

Just answer 2 questions: How many of them have grown their grassroots structures since the last elections? How many of them fielded any candidate in the numerous local govt, state and legislative elections that have happenned since 2019? they will come again and say they are contesting elections. it is only president they want to be, How do you want to govern when you have no assembly members or senators or local govt reps? So say someone like Moghalu or Durotoye or any of the jokers wins the presidency, but his party has no senators or NASS members, he wont be able to do anything, he will be controlled by either PDP or APC.......so why waste your vote on him or his likehuhhuh

It's not a wasted vote for one and it's clear you don't understand what a merger means you made the point that the parties aren't growing but if they're merging is that not quite literally expanding and growing the party? You asked whether they've had candidates in any Senatorial or gubernatinal election and I will tell you go and search for it ADC has had a candidate in every single election from LGA to presidential in Nigeria since 2007 even Sowore's AAC has had candidates in gubernational and senatorial elections

On the contrary you dont seem to understand what a merger means. I refer you to my earlier post reproduced below. Again you can merge all you want, but if after your merger you are still insignificant, what have you gained? Do they have members in the NASS or senate? You field candidates that gain 10 votes...clap for them. When these parties gain enough momentum, come back until then I am not wasting my vote, i will rather stay at home or vote for the lesser of 2 evils. I gain nothing by voting for someone who has no effect on the election but even if I dont elect a good candidate my vote can help keep a worse candidate out. Truth be told, one may be better of voting out a government that hasnt performed and electing a worse one than wasting my vote on someone withe no chance of winning...at least it helps send a message to those a in power that they have to perform....Unfortunately thats the reality of Nigerian politics.

perambulator:
thats different, ANPP, CPC and ACN had significant following but the remaining parties do not have a big enough support to make a dent.

APGA to only major party of the remaining pretenders wont make a difference because all their supporters are already PDP supporters...dont forget APGA had no presidential candidate last time so it's not like they have any new votes to contribute to PDP. As far as the remaining parties, let me post the election results from 2019 below

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Nigerian_general_election

out of a total of 27,324,583 votes, PDP and APC together accounted for 26,454,825 which means the 76 other parties combined only got 869,758 between them....less than 1million. if they added all those votes to PDP, APC will still have won. These people are jokers and they know they cant win, most of them just want their names in the press.....dont let them deceive you.

if 76 parties cannot get 3% between them how many votes will 6 parties get?

Dagger111:
Just do anything possible to avoid APC and PDP coming 2023, pls. This is what they only knw how to do best below:

SOCIALISM: You have two cows, and you give one to your neighbor.

COMMUNISM: You have two cows, the government takes both and gives you milk.

FASCISM: You have two cows, the government takes both and sells you milk.

NAZISM: You have two cows, the government takes them and kills you.

CAPITALISM: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a male. You multiply your cows and there is economic growth. You sell them, you retire and you live on your profits.

MODERN CAPITALISM: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a male. You multiply your cows and you buy those of your neighbors. The latter become your shepherds, you pay them in monkey currencies and they die poor.

AMERICAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you sell one and you have to make the other one to produce milk like 4 cows. By dint of producing beyond her capacity, she dies. You take a consultant to understand this death.

FRENCH SOCIETY: You have two cows, you go on strike because you want a third.

GERMAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you modify them so that they live 100 years, eat once a month and treat themselves.

CHINESE SOCIETY: You have two cows, you sell milk to your compatriots and you produce plastic milk to export to the rest of the world.

BLACK/ AFRICAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you eat them all the same day and you dream that donors or the international community give you others. You turn to God and hope for miracle cattle. You fast 40 days and 40 nights without eating or drinking so that the cows will fall from heaven. At the end, you die in extreme poverty.

ADC alone has 5 members of the NASS and they haven't even done any concerted grassroot campaign now with increased media popularity, support from APGA in the Anambra election, endorsement by Tinubu and now a merger with 6 other parties you really think that they have no chance? And your point of electing the lesser of two evils is stupid you should vote for the good leader even if they don't win so at least you know within yourself that you never supported any form of evil within governance and if the good candidate wins then happy days you contributed to a positive change in society I would rather 'waste' my vote then give it away to someone evil

I told you last time I voted for a good candidate that I knew would lose to assuage my conscience....not anymore! And who told you I regard APGA or ADC as any different from APC or PDP?

You are free to use your vote as you wish
