I was in the living room and the veranda is visible from there. My younger brother was washing some plates when two guys walked up to him and one requesting for water to wash his hands (stained with palm oil). The other opened the well to fetch some water while my brother was attending to the other guy. We suspected nothing thinking they were just strangers asking for water to use. After like 5 minutes, my younger brother opened the well to fetch some water only to notice palm oil spread inside and a nylon stained with palm oil inside the well. He called my attention but was too late to locate those guys since they have already left a while ago. What could be the implication because it seems one of them actually distracted my brother so the other one could carry out their evil acts (I suppose). Also, my brother said he some how saw the one on the well leaning over the well with his two hands and seems like his lips were moving but never suspected anything. We haven't fetch any water from the well to use since then. Please does anyone know what this could be?

Why are you here asking us for implications when you should instead be looking for ways to test the water to find out if it was poisoned by the men your brother claimed had tampered with it?

Find a lab to check if what was dropped in was poisonous and maybe install a pump so you can have the well locked so no one has direct access to it henceforth.

If someone used that water and lands in the hospital afterwards, they will say it's juju that someone did with the water. Not knowing that the water had been rendered unsafe for domestic use.
