Exactly. There should be serious consequences starting from men who patronize hotels filled with underage girls to the senators using religion as a cover and to randy men who prey on helpless underage girls.

The only saving grace and this is a rare one is when the girl in question lies about her age and she is kind enough to say it in the court that indeed she lied to you...then you can have the affirmative defense but not if the lady don’t actually appear to the jury as someone about whom a reasonable mistake might be made.

Say for instance a lady is very sexually mature in looks and she lied to you that she is 18 when she is actually younger, if you can prove that she lied and she truly looks way more mature sexually then you just might get lucky.

Well na dem sabi but I think u are getting something wrong here, what Yomi Fabiyi was fighting for was justice and not necessarily to declare baba ijesha innocent. He was fighting the fact that baba ijesha was not allowed bail, access to his lawyers and medical treatment when he was sick. Maybe I misunderstood the situation but the few videos of his that went around, I think that was what he was clamouring for.

All these medical examination are absolutely unnecessary and ridiculous. A pure case of needless witch-hunt.

We have video evidence that Baba Ijesha molested a minor. We can just start and end there. Sure, the minor's testimony would also prove helpful.

I have to state that setting him up is not wrong and neither is any just punishment the man would receive if found guilty, but we are basing our verdict on what he did based on the video before us.

We see what Baba Ijesha did (no penetrative sex), but Princess said that is just a part of the video. I would assume that she shared the complete video where he had penetrative sex with the minor, so why is there still a medical examination? Like, it makes no sense to me that they want medical evidence to nail someone for an act they cannot prove (there is no such video where Baba Ijesha is blatantly penetrating that minor - just because he's found guilty of one crime doesn't mean he committed the other). Believe you me, if Baba Ijesha had penetrative sex with the minor, Princess would share it. I'm all for justice and justice should be served.

He molested that minor but we don't know if he had penetrative sex with her. It is impossible to know what frequency a woman has had sex after the first time because contrary to popular opinion, the vagina doesn't expand after frequent sex. Only child birth does that.

What is the minor's testimony with relevant links. I don't support people especially women because they make claims - I know what they are truly capable of.

Legal consent is different from the normal consent. I can't explain further. refer to my post above for proper explanation. You ladies seldom read objectively but you quickly put emotions in everything.

There are two types of rape.

1. The non consensual rape which involves force whether it is two minors or a minor/adult or two adults.

2. Statutory rape which is a consensual sex between an adult and a minor simply because the minor has not reached the LEGAL age of consent even if she consented without any force involved.
