A young nigerian graduate with two educational degrees has taken to the streets with a placard in hand, begging the public for job opportunities, Siggy reveals.

The graduate captured the attention of motorists who were passing by the location he stationed himself

He held a placard which indicated that he was a Financial Management graduate and he also has a qualification in BCom Law.

The man who said he has four years experience in Accounts Payable, revealed that he is not begging for money, rather he just wants a job.

According to him, he is currently furthering his studies and needs the money to take care of school needs.

Social media users recommended ways in which they feel he can be helped.

If he could boldly carry a placard to beg for a job, he might as well have used the energy/opportunity to sell something to motorists and passersby, and at the same time sell himself.
That way, he's sure not to waste energy and go home empty. undecided

You get it all wrong. Is everyone destined to sell sharwama at corners??
It's not everyone that is wired to be an entrepreneur. Have you asked why 80-90% of shops fold after 6months- 1 year?
Make your research.

There should be jobs for the youths . In saner climes, it is done, you work per hour.
Nigeria has the capacity, but we keep moving in circles.
My opinion though

Then the street of lagos and other 35 states of the federation, including the FCT will not contain the unemployed youths (graduate/non graduate) if we all follow suit. Unemployment, insecurity, racism/tribalism, corruption, illiterateracy et al. All these ain't peculiar to Nigerians only. It was a list on our bucket. Resorting to carrying placard on the street demanding for job isn't the best approach to this predicament.

Imagine if we'll come out en mass in solidarity of not being gainfully employed? Isn't that a threat to the National security? Infact, many decades back with less population. Not all Nigerians had life at their back and calling. I myself isn't left out on this. I'm still on the look out for job (unemployed)

This government had already made it known to us, the president did asserted claiming there's no job for us. He does placed embargo on federal parastatals.

Moreso, state governors, legislators ( federal and state) commissioners, LG chairmen, councillors et al ain't left out in the picture. We should learn to hold them responsible and accountable to their constitutional mandate. All responsibilities shouldn't be placed solely on the president, keeping others at arm length. This had made them developed cold shoulder to our plight

Amidst all, the only power we all had as a Nigerians is our votes. Let's use our votes to bring in visionary and competent young man with track record. Let's get our PVC in the nick of time and come.
