@OP.

Why is it that it must always be an Igbo who starts divisive threads about everything and everyone?

Why must you people always be the only Nigerian ethnic group, of over 250, always seeking to create division where there is none?

Why do you people always seek to highlight what divides people, promotes intolerance and spreads hate, that could lead to enmity and bad blood, yet you never support what will unite Nigerians or promotes peace, tolerance and amicable coexistence?

Obvious you people love war, hate, religious extremism, raidcalism, ethnic discrimination, gender inequality, caste segregstion, disharmony, chaos and anarchy.

Did the Op say he is Igbo?
What tribe he comes from is immaterial, the Op stated the truth. Like Gumi, the Ishaq or Muric man is a threat to National Security.

Mydn44 is the most mature person among the moderators mydn44 isn't like ipob moderator that always banning and deleting topics related to Igbos matter but he will allow ipob miscreants to create a discredited topic against Yoruba people.

It's no longer news that Professor Ishaq Akintola has said that Yoruba Moslems will never vote for a Yoruba Christian.
It has always been the case just that Ishaq is becoming vocal.
But who is behind Ishaq?
Ishaq Akintola has full backing of influential Yoruba Moslems, including Tinubu. Yes Tinubu.
Who nurtured Ishaq? Aregbesola Rauf.
Who nurtured Rauf? Tinubu.
What is happening to Yoruba Christians is akin to what happens to a tortoise in a pot of water on the fire. The creature doesn't know when the dice is cast. It enjoys the warm water until it becomes hot and then it dies.
The Yoruba Moslems big men are using Greek gift strategy. They will always marry a Christian woman and make her influential among Christians, so she can influence the leadership of SW Christian community.
Tinubu, Fashola etc have done all these. Is it a coincidence? No. It is a ploy.
They are Moslem faithfuls did not leave the pulpit. Tunde Bakare was a Moslem, but his antecedents doesn't show he WAS, it shows he still gives parts to 7 and some parts to 8.
Tunde Bakare is more comfortable with Buhari than Jonathan.
Tunde Bakare is more comfortable with Gumi than David Oyedepo.
Is this a coincidence? No.
The Christians in SW are docile and gluttonous. They prefer being slaves to masters. See how Tinubu camp are bullying Osibanjo. See how they messed Ambode out of office. See what they're doing in Oyo. See what they did to Oyinlola and when Rauf came, they wanted to overrun everyone.
Check those that claim religion is not an issue in Yoruba, they're all Christians. But have you heard from the very Moslems they are courting? Ishaq says it is an issue.
So I'm not prodding Christians to start hating. No. But they should be conscious of the times and season because, if you neither hot nor cold, the Lord will spew you out of his mouth.

This is how chronic madness starts ooo.

This was the same way those before you sarted, now they live permanently at the psychiatric hospitals all over the country

Keep fooling your selves.

Tinubu doesn't care about Yoruba Christian's,have you ever asked your self why he have never condemned the atrocities committed by herds men in South West or do you think he is not aware..?

Even when that afanifere leader daughter was murdered he was shying away from what happened,he blamed igbos instead...
Even during the faceoff between wakili and igboho in ibarapanda he never uttered a word why?

You've got jokes. I was born, bred in Ilorin and still lives in Ilorin, there's no such thing spoken by any Chief Imam of Ilorin. Hope you are no referring to Aduranigba. I like him a lot for his liberating moves but he is seen as an outcast my the Fulani establishment in Ilorin alongside the identity crises prone indigenes. The state recognized Chief Imam of Ilorin is one Muhammad Bashir Soliu.

The OP is Igbo. Check his past post. Only takes a few seconds. The point is that you will rarely see any Nigerian ethnic group, even the Fulani that are most demonized today, trying, as outsiders , to spread divisive propaganda that pits brothers against brothers.

Only Igbos will tell Yoruba Christians to beware Yoruba Moslems and be ready to fight them in Yoruba land. Never mind that the affairs of Yoruba land is non of their business.

Only Igbos will tell Hausas to decimate Fulanis in the North because, according to Igbos, Fulanis are holding them in bondage and need to be dealt with.

Only Igbos will tell various ethnicities to rise up against the political dominance of Yorubas in Lagos since the State is "no man's land".

The pattern is clear for most observant Nigerians. Igbos can never promote peace and harmony or progress. They always overstep their boundaries promoting chaos and anarchy they wish to profit from.

No sensible Yoruba, Moslem or Christian, takes Ishaq Akintola seriously.

Why should Igbos alone be pushing the narrative that Yorubas Christians must rise up against Moslems if not that, like fundamentalist Moslems in Northern Nigeria, Igbos too have a fundamental, intolerant and radical approach to religion?

At least Northerners limit the divisive and radical propaganda within their region unlike Igbos who love to spread it everywhere. Especially in Yoruba land that is religiously tolerant.

What is the aim? Get Yorubas to be religious extremists like Northerners and Igbos?

Why not leave Yorubas to manage their religious interactions same as Yorubas never tell Igbos how to manage religion in their region?

You asked for JUST "one cleric that has said something to oppose these guys? " and I gave you one however you've decided to move the goal post.. ....by saying he's seen as an outcast by the fulani establishment in Ilorin. Probably because he believes in Yoruba nation!

My point precisely is that even though I don't live in Nigeria, I've seen many yoruba Muslims who are true "Omoluabis" and therefore aligns with their fellow yorubas' objective.

Stop burying your head in the sand. We love ourselves quite alright but the Muslims won't hesitate to tell you Islam first. Even a whole king who is meant to be the custodian of unision and culture in Iwo is busy advancing the cause of Islam above others. Dragging IFA on whose basis he rode to the throne in the mud now.

Being a Muslim is the first symptom of brain damage.

Abiola would have been first yoruba muslm to become president. He did not listen to IBB on the choice of his running mate. He lost it. Yoruba muslms are hoping that Tinubu is another opportunity. It would be more easy for yoruba Muslim to become president or vp northern Muslims would give a Christian in the region that opportunity.
