Idaytesj29:Look for a corolla or civic. 03-05. Drop the camry. Don't be carried away by the prestigious look of the car. You are on HP remember. |

eyinola:Do you know that's the best trick to make riders cancel without asking them to? Sometimes I also use this trick. E.g PU: shop rite, ikeja Dest: ogolunto ikorodu R: where are you? My actual location could be 100m, 300m or less than 1km away Me: after confirming their destination, I tell them I'm I'm either in marry land, ikeja along or Airport. Most times the rider will say, ha! That's far na I can't wait, sime will just hang up immediately and cancel |

chillex8:Can u Imagine! An Honda civic parts so expensive like it's a good car. I tried asking the tok price for a MB Kompressor last week Complete engine for a 4matic 250k, Borale (or what ever it's called) 150k Kompressor 4plugs like my complete engine 150k, skeleton 75k The compressor in my car is abt 13 or 15k... You'll see water vapours in my glass with and outside temp of 35°C Transmission is around 60k Radiator water can is 11k for new one, tokunbo sells within 5 to 7k I got my stabilizer linkage rod 4k 4weeks ago (one stupid panel beater burnt it and the thing got damaged. The thing is, why should I spend so much to maintain a car that it's performance is far less than a mini bus yet periodic maintenance is often... Foolishness to say the least. |

Idaytesj29:Okay no vex I was trying to meet target. You know I manage my time well by being selfish. I work hard now and socialize later. I use the Camry and as far as I’m concerned there is no difference with Corrolla, it’s rugged and cheap to maintain just like any Toyota. Security and police won’t know you are Uber unless jazebel daughter seats at d back. But make sure u don’t buy a lemon Limca Camry.

Idaytesj29:For peace of mind, kindly stay away from those Camry v4. 2007 to 2010 v4 are factory defects are notoriously known to short oil.. Especially if you are going to be using it for uber. It will require daily anointing of oil to top it every morning. Failure to do that will kill the engine....... Now failure to follow advice, And decide to use it and people tell just use thicker oil 20w50 for the oil burn. You will end up spending more money for topping the oil . 20w50 engine oil is around 9k naira. And an uber driver covers at least 2k miles a month and 20w50 will need more frequent oil change, and failure to change oil will lead to sludge engine. Either way avoid it .. The driver that are using it now on uber are on a time bomb. It is a matter of time before the car breaks down |

Pls tell your daughter to order another ride for you, so rude" I hanged up. The thing vex me jare... I know i wouldn't have disrespected her if it was a physical convo... But honestly enh the woman was very rude shall... I don't know why most women especially from that tribe are like that they don't have regards for people at all... |

mejai:Lol... I don't need it again o my brother one of here came through for me and will paying off some time next month. Though this one looks great the interest is not bad at all, the only thing is the collateral they need, a big setback for them. Good luck to them though. |

dru23:Excuse me sir, did you say 2000 miles monthly? I've done about 1500miles in just 2weeks of inactive driving... Your slave boy cheerfulgiver says a hard working driver should do 1000miles weekly... I only did an average of 2000miles monthly when I was under rent with your car inclusive but currently I don't if any driver on rent have the conscience to do that especially now that two drivers are running one car I'm sure you're aware the driver labour market is already saturated. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 9:53am On Oct 26, 2021 |
Number101:Dead on arrival. GT offers 1.33% monthly and you are here with over 13% monthly interest. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by dru23(m): 9:55am On Oct 26, 2021 |
Felicity001:Labour market is not saturated .... This is Xmas season and as a matter of fact , demand for cars has increase. Drivers are holding on to their cars. Business is slow and people are looking for jobs.. Transportation business can't never saturated .. Cars break down easily. 50% of cars are sleeping at the shop with the mechanics. Car owners are getting out of the business

Felicity001:Going beyond the jokes and the smileys, doesn’t it irk you as a black man to live in a society devoid of law and order? Sorry to bring politics into this thread, but men, all the leaders in Lagos and Nigeria at large, yet they can’t even get a semblance of order when it comes to road users and driving. How difficult can it really be to have police officers patrol and pull over erring drivers? Why must they stand forming checkpoints, instead of patrolling the streets and finding ERRING DRIVERS ON THE MOVE? The same way you saw a danfo do something wrong is the same way a squad of police patrolling will see them as well. The difference is, you have no official power to enforce driving laws while the squad car does, but I’ll tell you how you are both similar - you both will drive off and do NOTHING! Such a shame of a police force and irresponsible present/past governments who remove themselves from society. How difficult really is it oh black man! God of mercy. No politician even talks about such “minute” details of society here in Nigeria, because I guess to them, Nigeria must remain a jungle. Seriously, when was the last time, if ever, you heard a Nigerian politician campaign and raise points such as stated above? Have you heard them say, “when I come in, I will tackle law and order on the roads, making sure drivers maintain lane discipline and buses make use of bus stops and so on and so on”? None! Up till now, 2021, you still can’t even call police in Nigeria in the event of an emergency. It’s sad really. Anyways, I rant! |

Barbiturate:How is that possible? Bolt won’t give you cash request at all if you have exceeded your limit, so are you saying they gave you a request mistakenly and remembered you owing them so they canceled it ? Once I do a transfer to bolt in less than 5mins it will reflect on my dashboard.

Memberclub:I hope you didn’t resign your job to come and net 100k easily week in week out ? Suffer never master you. Don’t worry just keep driving longer hours your leg will quickly adapt and then you can be driving and earning without pains. After all sitting in the office and sitting in your car is the same and you earn more sitting and driving in your car.
