He is but hardly do you come across Nigerians informed, pragmatic and dispassionately objective enough to see what is obvious let alone admit it.

Overall, Buhari is better than GEJ. He has achieved more and his failures, other than with insecurity, given the income both had to work with , is less than GEJ's.

Jonathan's inability to conquer Boko Haram, sudden hike in food prices and stealing of funds were reasons people voted him out, not because of one Tinubu. You ediots easily forget history.
No ooh he hasnt forgotten. But has just collected his share of ijebu garri, sugar and groundnut. Lol

Leading Nigeria on his sick bed or using tax payers money for medical treatment abroad?

This will be the highest wickedness on humanity.

So Yoruba people learnt nothing under Buhari. You mean now we need a focused and energetic leader to wipe out insurgency in all the states and return Nigeria from bush to road.
No ooh... TRIBALISM is still enshrined in most of them cos I wont generalize.. it's only here on nairaland you get to hear them sound 'sophisticatedly ' stupid

That's how some people win in life while many others have a crap life.

Even allowing that some are "marketing" Tinubu, are they commiting a crime or doing somwthing illegal?

If no, then why dont you do same for who you believe in so he/she can defeat Tinubu so you can gain the President you feel can deliver the changes you want?

Limit your input to criticism alone, or only attacking the actions/opinions of other proactive and resolute people, and you will always lose in life 100%

Asiwaju will make a fine president, no doubt.. but I'm afraid he'd face so many obstacles like
1. North working aginst him if they sense he is not someone they can control.
2. The Igbos won't vote Tinubu, instead they'll go for Atiku, a Fulani man they love dearly.
3. The talk about his religion will arise and why christian president should emerge.
4. The issue of election even holding atal in some regions will also determine the outcome.

He still has more chances of becoming president than any Igbo man alive now so no shaking.
A slave will always be a slave. Even on the throne, he remains a slave

Who do you want then? Say it right now and sell your choice, if you can, rather than run away. Some of you need to prove you're more about who you want rather than who you do not.

That is precisely how it is in almost all nations of the world except Nigeria where everything works upside down because of tribalism, illiteracy and sectional bias.

If you're honest to yourself you will admit Tinubu's history, socio-economic outlook, fiscal policies and leadership ethos show he is actually the one, not Atiku etal, who will make everyone face their resources and take their eyes off crude.

Tinubu did this precisely in Lagos illustrated by his obsession with raising IGR, stremlining processes, improving security and basic infrastructure, driving changes to attract FDI and many other innovations so Lagos can grow to be self-sufficient, more financially independent and not a slave to Abuja crude oil disbursement.

This effort, to universal applause, quickly made Lagos the six richest econmy in Africa richer than Ghana, Kenya and others.

Hate Tinubu if you must but kindly stick to facts and verifiable history so you never associate him with the mindless, clueless and beggarly lack of innovation that makes virtually all Nigerian leaders, since I999, unable to achieve what BAT and his successors have.

If not for ethnic bigotry, it is obvious Tinubu's ideas, which have worked spectacularly well for Lagos, can deliver Nigeria.

Tinubu is socio-economically innovative and brilliant. He believes in free market, efficient processes, competitive and innovation-drive societies, creative ways of funding infrastructural development, privatization of specialist and technocrstic sectors to stimulate efficiency and the rise of self-sustainable States.

A template for Nigeria's development and growth.

Why is Akeredolu championing Tinubu's race then rather than attempting to run the race himself?

When those you endorse are endorsing Tinubu then I believe that itself should tell you a lot about Tinubu.

To be honest, the endorsement of Tinubu is overwhelming.

If Tinubu is 100% hale and well, and interested in contesting, then Osinbajo has little to no chance of gaining the APC ticket because, as one example, all these Governors will send voting delegates from their States to the APC Primaries.
just be assuming there, that was how Buhari was assumed hail and hearty, but today a dead wood and a natural disaster. So with what has happened in Nigeria from Endsars to the crumbling economy, u never still get sense. Anyway all hail Tinubu....The president of nairaland, the president of sw, the bullion van thief and duffle bag boy. Piece of shit

Compare and contrast SW states to other region states.
The difference is clear.

WE SW endorse Asiwaju Bola ahmed Tinubu as our candidate for presidency 2023.
If you have a better candidate who has done better than him for his state and region, bring the forward, lets compare

At the bolded, is it Tinubu or Fashola you are talking about?

Can you tell us what Tinubu achieved in Lagos please.

Tinubu improved infrastructure in Lagos? Where?
Tinubu masterplanned Lagos. As one example, he is the brain behind Eko Atlantic. The fact that he inherited Lagos at her worst meant BAT had to spend an appreciable time identifying the problems and their root causes to then brainstorm for the most effective long term solutions.

Tinubu achieved a lot of transformation for Lagos. Aware 8 years would not be enough to implement his long term masterplan and reforms, Tinubu ensured he assisted the emergence of a worthy successor in Fashola.

That action alone is another master-stroke testimony to Tinubu's leadership quality. The man planned exhaustively, including ensuring forward motion and development beyond his exit as Governor, to get Lagos where she is today.

Please note that Buhari has not entirely failed. He has done some good and even near great things. He is far better than GEJ overall .

Where Buhari has failed, that no one could really anticipate, is letting his openly pro-Fulani and pro-North thinking cloud his judgement to then dictate his actions and inactions.

This has impacted negatively on security, the economy, ethnic cohesion and unity of Nigeria, critical appointments (like AGF), institutional reforms, the need for restructuring, retention of practices leading to bloated and inefficient governmenf parastatals mainly Northerners are beneficiaries of, constitutional reform, socio-economic policies etal.

Even decisions such as building a rail line to Niger Republic, complete with rail station, with Nigeria 's money and no counterpart funding, appear distinctly sentimental, ethnocentric and economically unjustifiable. Buhari could have gotten Nigeria to the next level.

Buhari failed because he fails to see all Nigerian region and people as equal. Buhari is not as efficient a President as he has the potential to be because of dogmatic devotion to his ethnic group and region above what is best for all. That is his own limitation Tinubu has never had. They are totally different people.

If Buhari was more objective and not so North-centric then he could easily have become the best President Nigeria has produced since 1999.

Every major decision Buhari takes has to pass the test of being in the best interest of the North and not Nigeria. Buhari has ended up failing everyone, especially the North, because of this.
I stopped reading at your first paragraph. Newsflash, the naira is still in freefall, fuel price at the depots just increased by N5.00 per litre. AGO price crossed the N300.00 mark. Prices of items continue to go up. And you say Buhari"s better than GEJ?? Is that a joke or what? Or do you enjoy suffering & poverty?

Simple. In all elections Yorubas always do this. I.e settle decisively on a candidate and make coherent arguments for why that candidate deserves support.

Contrast with the negative and undemocratic behaviour of those who are doom mongers and only interested in 'warning' about who must never win an election rather than reveal who should and why.

Tinubu needs no crude oil to develop Nigeria. He is highly intelligent and he employs intelligent people to work for him. Lagos had no crude oil when started developing Lagos. Today, Lagos is far more developed than the best crude oil producing state in Nigeria.
Apparently you've not been to Rivers or Akwa Ibom. The one thing Lagos has going for is that it's the country's primary commercial hub & gateway with a significant Federal presence. Remove all that and it's basically another Osun state by the ocean
