plaindealer:You don't know anything. Just continue what you are paid to do. You are an ignorant political messenger. Nnamdi Azikiwe created the problem. Bayelsa debt profile has nothing to do with Diezani ancestral lands that have been exploited for decades and the oppressors are living a life of opulence. Bayelsa people are proud of Diezani - her intellect, beauty and charisma are natural endowment which complement the natural resources (crude oil ) which God gave them but being exploited by your brothers. Bayelsa people are also proud of Dan Etete. Dan Etete is in exile over Malabu oil deal. Oil found on his father's ancestral lands. Your people and your bandits are having champagne parties over Zamfara goldmine and CBN is their treasurer. Their big boys are sleeping on oil on Diezani ancestral lands exchanging their children for marriages, building Arabian palaces in Nigeria. You are too small and inexperienced. The level of corruption now at NNPC despite lower price of oil compared to Jonathan's era is monumental . There is high level corruption in every sector looting borrowed fund. Because you want to reintroduce PTF in another format does not means everybody is a fool. You can run propaganda of Diezani's bra being worth one billion dollars and the most expensive in the world for nomadic people just to create a department to carry out infrastructure. Obasanjo should be somewhere now lamenting. The first thing Obasanjo did even before he was sworn in as president in May 1999 was to announce the scrapping of Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) . Salihijo Ahmad , Buhari in-Law was the Special Adviser to Buhari and the owner of Afri Project Consortium (APC). He died from the shock he received when Obasanjo sacked Buhari as PTF Chairman and scrapped PTF. APC was the sole management consultant to PTF. |

She has denied ownership of these forfeited items and till now EFCC have not shown any evidence they actually belong to her. She is in the UK. Buhari visits the UK like every month. When is he going to ask for her extradition? |

Agboriotejoye:The rest of what you wrote was personal opinion and conspiracy theories and I don't argue against or debate personal opinion and conspiracy theories, it's a waste of time. Again, if you really think the FG and you in particular spending the FG aka your money to fix your roads and make your life better is a bad thing, then you have serious personal and anti social issues.. You obviously prefer for them to loot the money instead of spending the money on you to make your life better, this is how upsidedown counterproductive many of you lazy Nigerian youths think. |

plaindealer:Which of it is personal opinion? Is it personal opinion that NNPC declared 200bn profit after being commercialized and out of which 30% will go into frontier basin exploration? Is it personal opinion that same NNPC that declared 200bn profit is now using 600bn to fix roads Is it personal opinion that Niger state governor claimed he secured a loan to fix Bida-Minna and same road is part of those to be fixed by NNPC Is it personal opinion that Agaie Katcha Baro road has been completed up to Katcha and the remaining 18km has been awarded twice and is also part of the 600bn largesse" Is it personal opinion that the Ibadan Ilorin road is already being worked on and almost completed? Here is my personal opinion since you are asking. The NNPC has become a piggybank to move slush funds under the guise of interventions. Reason am na. You have been running a company at a loss for 44 years. First year it makes N1000 profit, you want to burden it with a liability thrice the profit it has managed to make in its 44 years existence. How exactly does that make sense to you? Are you killing the business or making it stronger? Where is the extra money coming from suddenly? The loans that are being collected on my behalf and yours by FG. What are they being used for that NNPC is being asked to cough out 600bn to fix roads. FG just got approval for over $4bn loan. Why can't that be used for the roads? Think man!! Think |

Everything become injust in ur sight why , don't Niger Delta already have a commission set up to take care of those roads , sometimes we need to look beyond sentiment ,these roads are basically been done for commercial reason , remembered NUPENG suspended their their strike for solely this reason. Something is wrong with this government, I believe that the wrong people are running the affairs of government. NNPC that could not maintain any refinery or boost of anything in petroleum sector is constructing road. Shame!! We know what will happen to the fund. |

agabaI23:Niger state alone is bigger than the whole South-East! North is vast and they have given priority to roads that attract trucks, tanks and trailers, the busiest roads in the country especially for goods transportation. This is the reflection of promises made to NUPENG and other long vehicles drivers that made them suspend their strike! |

The NNPC said road choices were made based on importance to haulage of Petroleum products across the country and is part of agreement reached with NUPENG that led to the shelving of its planned strike. It is debatable if Niger State alone has the most important roads for Petroleum haulage but it is better to still fix roads irrespective of where they are in the country rather than politicians looting the money. Eventually, most roads across the country will get fixed. Within the North, I haven't heard people screaming why Niger State alone got the lion share. It is a sign of political maturity that we should all try to imbibe. PHC and Warri refineries are being upgraded at over $2bln, Lagos-Calabar coastal rail is planned to be awarded at over $11bln. Most private firms who take advantage of this executive order to use tax credits for infrastructure site their projects in the South. There are other numerous multi billion dollar projects going on in the South. If NDDC judiciously uses its funds for infrastructural development in oil producing states, those places would have long turned to Dubai. Why do we scream Southern marginalisation every time? I support use of tax credits for infrastructure as it side steps use of corrupt govt machinery to execute contracts which are often poorly done if ever done, with most of the monies entering private pockets. Private firms will do better quality jobs at less the price with more transparent tendering processes that deliver timely. My point is, let us see the bigger picture than this myopic ethnicisation and castigation of efforts at developing every part of our country. |

Agboriotejoye: Reconstruction and upgrading of the 82-kilometer Minna-Bida road. 9. Bida-Minna road, Niger state. 791.1kmThe state obtained $86.64 million to construct 82klm section of the road, but what the NNPC is constructing is 791.1 klm road, almost 8 times what the state is constructing. These roads are always done in sections, and the fact that some sections are under construction doesn't mean the whole road from point A to point B is all constructed and completed. Again, all you have to peddle is your personal opinion along with conspiracy theories, instead of reading and educating yourself, you run around peddling lame opinions and fabricated rubbish. I play with facts, not lame and fabricated opinions and baseless conspiracy theories.. |

1km to be constructed @ NGN345,000,000.00? Wow wow wow... And the goose that lays the golden eggs get a paltry 82km.? I weep for my region! South South: 1. Rehabilitation of Odukpani-Itu-Ikot Ekpene road in Cross River state Section I: Odukpani-Itu Bridge Head in Cross River/Akwa Ibom states. 21.9km 2. Dualization of outstanding portion of Odukpani-Itu-Ikot Ekpene: lot 2. 32km 3. Dualization of Oku-Iboku Power Plant Section of the Odukpani-Itu-Ikot-Ekpene road in Cross River/Akwa Ibom state. 28km |

plaindealer:Oga use your sense. How can Bida-Minna road be 791km. Use Google maps if you can't use your sense to see the distance the road. That 791km is a typo missing a dot. They meant 79.1km. kachiko? You don't play with facts. You play with lame propaganda and foolish rumours. You've been posting a bra that belongs to Victoria Secret as belonging to Diezani throughout this thread. Common sense should even tell you without any other facts available that no one will acquire the world's most expensive bra and keep it in a wardrobe in ikoyi. That level of stupidity alone should warrant a jail term. What I'm showing you is how nnpc is being brazenly mismanaged. A lot of people have questioned on this thread, why a company that is failing miserably in its core mandate and just declared profit for the first time in its existence is delving into a social contract worth thrice the purported profit. Everyone's cry has always been that nnpc is not being properly run. Here is a naked example. But you choose to wrap it in the naked, shameless propaganda of "it's better they repair road. It's our money". Rubbish!! |
