The eNaira is a new digital currency created and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The digital currency is live and available for download.

The eNaira has both the user and merchant app available for android and iOS. The eNaira user wallet called the “eNaira Speed Wallet” is a fast and convenient way to conduct financial transactions. The app already has over 100,000 installs on Playstore.

I received the email about it today but I don’t see the need for it because these foreign platforms are way more popular and are accepted by freelancing websites. If they’re smart they would partner with them because some of those platforms don’t allow direct withdrawals into Nigerian accounts. PayPal for example.

I don't know their real intentions behind this. But it useless to me for so many reason.
It can't be mined. The quick, secure, contactless payment is no different from the already popular ones like paystack, quickteller, flutterwave.
The value is still the same as the useless naira.

Their is no one single importance attached to the e-naira

The app is actually great.
Smooth experience so far with the iOS version of the app .
Smooth funding to and withdrawal from the app with my GTBANK internet banking.
However, I noticed that some people don’t like the app, not because the app it bad. But because they hate Buhari and APC .

I can NEVER, and will NEVER have it due to insincerity on the part of the government. Nothing of benefits to masses won't be considered but anything that supports their interest fly immediately. So what's good here even in the long run?

I have it but I have not been able to register on it due to bvn email problem. I think I will need to update my bvn again. I guess that is why most people are furious.
