Guy abeg I calculated my IHS Fee for myself and my family.

Everyone is expected to pay £705 each, including a 4 year old and 6month old baby.

Is there a mistake in my calculations?

Are you doing the calculation yourself the system tells your how much to pay based on the info you entered?

I have a friend, she got an offer at University of Huddersfield, she has 2 kids living with her here, but the husband is presently in UK as an illegal immigrant. His visit visa expired 4 yrs ago & he didn't leave UK.

Now, she want to pay tuition deposit, then proceed to apply for visa with the 2 kids.

Her questions are;
1. Can she include her husband as dependent (not going with her) or not.
2. Can she include her children as (dependent going with her) without her husband.
3. Or she declares they are divorced, then remarry over there?

Or what's the best thing for her to do so that she can take her children along.

I will appreciate all your responses.

I sent a mail to get a date, it took 3 days to get a response

This a tough one. I will start with 3. It will be extremely difficult for her to remarry her husband legally in the UK if he is an overstayer. Only very few people are able to do that successfully. They will have to go back to Nigeria to remarry.

I am not really sure how she can apply without getting her husband involved. She needs to indicate that she is married and get a letter from the husband permitting her to bring the kids to the UK. This might trigger the info about the husband, which might lead to denial as what is happening here is obvious.

Also put into account the timeframe to request for CAS, 28 days for POF etc. There are people who already have their admission. So I don't think it's too early.

I mean after getting admission, the time one can start a visa application. You know some countries will say you can only start your visa application 3 months to when your course starts. I don't know maybe it is 3 months to course start date that one can start UK student visa application too.

They call everyone on the list. Some that have earlier appointments wouldn't be available yet, so you'll enter with the early birds and do your thing.

You can print the email. However, they already have their own list except there are issues of confirmation of date.
