But you are scheming about how Atiku will succeed Buhari, do one term and hand over to Peter Obi.
We don’t care how man terms he does as far as Tinubu or any Yoruba doesn’t get in there.

Concede it to you under what party exactly? PDP or APC?
I am just tired of their puerile accussations.

The Nigerian electorates will determine who will get there and you are fast reducing your capacity to influence that decision.
Re: PDP Convention: Osita Chidoka Points Out Absence Of Igbo Presidential Aspirants by akdjr(m):
I have always say this that the Igbos has failed to realize the power of regional politics and forming alliance with other region. I was strongly in support of Ojukwu when he formed APGA and he tried to ensure the party is well supported by the easterners before he can use the platform to negotiate with other region who also has a single party dominance to further negotiate for top positions and possibly the presidency but the Igbos prefer to pitch their tent in PDP who never meant well for this country. Peter Obi whom I strongly believe to be a formidable leader who will make sure that APGA become an household party that no region can do without suddenly join force with PDP cos they pick him as VP. We all know all along that the path is a failed one. Just watch again in 2023 how PDP will suffer another huge defeat. Election is not done in media neither is won by attacking each other in the media.
Penguin2:
Exactly!

We Igbos know that. And that’s why no Igbo man is interested in engaging in a wild goose chase.

Let PDP give an Igbo man its ticket and see Lagos-Ibadan expressway press and their Twitter minions going on overdrive to remind the north that voting an Igbo man is voting Nnamdi Kanu.

But we know them.

If in the spirit of United southern Nigerian, the Yoruba will not concede the presidency to the Igbos after OBJ’s 8 years as president and Osinbajo’s likely 8 years as vice, then the north can rule forever for all I care.

Before 1999 elections, OPC was terrorizing the Southwest and with some level of tacit support from locals.

Olu Falae and OBJ emerged as candidates of the two major political parties regardless of the activities of OPC.

Why are you choosing to be intelligent by half?
The truth is that , it's very difficult to get power if you don't participate in the political processess.

Participation is key. Even if you don't win , you will be in a better capacity to negotiate for sharing proceeds from the power.

If Obasanjo and Falae didn't participate in the primaries but demanding that they should be given presidential ticket, no one would have taken them serious.

Consistently complaining about what you opponents/rivals will do and given these as excuses for non-participations show that you don't have confidence in yourself. In this case, nobody will lend their support to you.

You must sit for JAMB, before soliciting for people to help you pay tuition fees.

Obasanjo was in prison.

How did he participate from prison?

Power was handed to him on a platter.

The powerbrokers of the country sat and decided to compensate the Southwest for Abiola. And once that was agreed on, they went in search of a candidate they can trust. And that was how Obasanjo was released from prison to contest against Alex Ekwueme who founded the PDP and was the clear favorite to clinch the ticket.

Why can’t that be done for Ndigbo?

I am not the one stopping you from Biafra. As is typical Ibo fashion, you are the architects of your own misfortune. Read your history, it was the same ibos fighting for Biafra that removed the option of any region seceding by peaceful means when Ironsi and Ben Nwabueze wrote the decree that removed the right to a referendum that previously existed in our constitution handed down to us by the British.
Referendum Kee u dia..
I asked you to take your Nigerian presidency and give me my Biafra!
What's too confusing there?
Take your presidency! Give me my Biafra..., And your are there quoting your oluwole history for me..

We play politics of ideology.

In 2015, nothing stopped us from jumping on the APC bandwagon but the ideology of the drivers of the party didn’t align with ours and that’s why we didn’t.

It is not because we believed an incumbent can never lose.

We have never liked Buhari even when he contested twice with Igbo vices.

We are a people that is consistent with our thinking and ideology. We don’t play politics of convenience.

So all those things you said up there have no bearing to why we stuck with PDP.
Politics of ideology where you aligned with a party for 16 years and the party left all the roads in SE in shambles?

Can you point to a worthy project PDP did for SE in the 16 years you were doing politics of ideology?
Or is it ideology of kari Ka chop?

Speak for yourself ọga. Stop using "we", "we", when it's very clear that most Igbos are hatred personified.
Penguin2:
We do not hate the Yoruba tribe. We only hate those who hate us.

We hate Tinubu not because he is Yoruba but because he has demonstrated his hatred for Ndigbo.

We voted for Obasanjo in 1999 and 2007. Or is Obasanjo a Nupe man?

The Igbos are one of the greatest supporters of Fashola even when Tinubu wanted to rubbish his integrity. We support Fashola because he’s detribalized and has no such hatred and vile against Igbos.

We are the greatest backbone of Ayo Fayose and Seyi Makinde. Or those niggurs Ibibio?

I just wanna let you know we don’t hate Yoruba nor any tribe. We only hate those who hate us!

I can comfortably use “we” because just like you seen through history, we are a homogeneous people with common interest which makes us tend to think alike.

That’s why it is usually very easy to predict what the Igbos will do because we move in unison and you know it.

LOL. Just to let you know that Igbos hatred towards other tribes is haunting you people politically and otherwise.
Try to enlighten your people how to speak and act LOVE towards other tribes otherwise you will just be like a lone ranger on the battle front.

What are you saying?!

Ogun and Oyo enjoys our presence merely because of their proximity to lagos.
Just as Nasarawa benefits from FCT.

Aside that, do you see us populating other poverty infested states in your region?!

There are igbos in large numbers in the North*central, and south...But you lots in yoruba land especially lagos, are the only ones that think you're doing us a huge favour.
Wake up...we have nothing against you personally. We are just chasing favourable weather conditions within and outside Nigeria. Lagos was naturally strategically situated that's why we go there.

The foundation of the success of Lagos is not yoruba-made
If the ibos living in Iragbiji, Ogbomoso, Ede, Apomu, Fiditi, Remo, Sagamu, Ila, Ilesa are sent away back home, SE will be in crisis and poverty in SE will increase

No project supersedes life.

And under PDP our life was never threatened. Such rhetorics as “it is better to give your ancestral land than get slaughtered” was never in our lexicon.

And besides, unless you can point to any significant project PDP executed elsewhere and wasn’t replicated in the Southeast, then you have no argument.

With that said, PDP gave us SGF, COAS, and other reputable appointments. We felt we belonged.

PDP upgraded Enugu Airport to International status. Something Buhari has tried to kill with heavy taxation on Ethiopian airline that operates there.

PDP gave us the second Niger bridge and tried to dredge the river Niger so our goods can start coming direct to Onitsha. But Buhari has abandoned it.

We weren’t 5 percent to PDP nor are we just a mere “Dot in a Circle”.

And lastly, it is not always about us, the Igbos, but about the generality of the welfare of the Nigerian people.

I know you Yoruba would be comfortable as far as you are enjoying and the rest of the country is burning.

But we are not like that. Because the Igbo man is a business man and a traveler, he sees every part of Nigeria as his constituency and is always bothered if things aren’t right anywhere.

Ndigbo want Lagos-Ibadan Expressway completed more badly than even the Yoruba people want it. Because you might find it funny that the volume of Igbos using that road on a daily surpasses that of any other tribe.

Ndigbo want Abuja-Lokoja highway constructed even more than Kogi people want it.

Just like we want Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway completed. Because these are our business routes.

Now let me ask you a question, does any Yoruba care if Enugu-Onitsha Expressway is constructed? What’s the volume of Youbas that ply that route in a month?

Abeg no make me talk plenty.

The upcoming generation of Nigerians can rewrite the history of this country.

We can correct the ills that has been done.

We can stop inheriting hatred passed on from our forefathers and perpetuated by politicians for their selfish gains.

So, I don’t believe in insulting everyone that comes my way. Reasonable people don’t do that.

Light and love always!

I believe in Nigeria; built on equity and fairness!

Your people don't even care about infrastructure that will serve the greater number of your people, it's just about appointment for a few, otherwise your folks who worked for Jonathan won't forget to complete 2nd Niger bridge.

Ohaneze clearly expressed their reason for backing Jonathan was because incumbents don't lose elections in Nigeria.

The dominant party in your region PDP had a rotation agreement but you betrayed them with your greed and untrustworthy behavior. You got your skewed number of appointments but destroyed the party in the process.

You just lied you don't believe in APC ideology but you're here demanding that APC flag must be given to an Ibo.

SARS killed miscreants who terrorized Upper Iweka.

Niger Deltans were protesting against their perceived marginalization.

Your terrorist Fulani friends were responsible for Jos massacre.

How are these PDP’s fault?

And hey, what tangible thing do you have to show after 6 years of your sojourn with APC? Abi you want it to get to 16 years first?

It was Igbos and Fulanis that always join hands together to vote for a President. What were your forefathers thinking then? Why should Yoruba take blame for an incident that happened under a government voted by Igbos and Northerners?
