Nice setup. Na lighting na him remain.
And that mic.. does it make any audible difference because the time I used it I didn't notice much difference between it and recording on my phone or PC directly?

well it's the BM800 and I'm using phantom power with it at 48Volts together with USB sound card so there's a clear difference in audio quality from my perspective. If you have to use a mic make sure it has a good voltage supply and you'll be able to tell the difference.

For now I'm not concerned about lighting, since I'm recording my screen most of the time.

It's a budget setup, didnt want to spend much money.

I doubt if they will let me post external links, but search it on jumia and order the one that comes with the bundle (mic and phantom power) that way you save more money, if you still notice echos then you have to go for that sound proofing material that encloses microphones (it is used in studios).

You can use OBS, audacity and any other recording softwares by the way make sure you get a USB sound card as it won't work directly with most PCs.

Vioce meter is also recommended but you will need to import settings.

Although I'm still yet to upload content on my YouTube channel this is my current setup for teaching, zoom meetings and recording my own courses that I will be uploading to YouTube from next year (because editing alone takes alot of time). Hopefully this inspires alot of people not to give up, software development is like oil money these days if you know what you're doing.

Yeah. Those are editing apps. We was talking about audio setup.

I finally got this USB soundcard and it worked perfectly after I plugged it in.

Using the default mic on your PC is okay but it has this edginess and crankiness to the audio. A condenser mic kinda flattens that out. It's like adding a filter.

depends on which language, plugin, IDE and sometimes framework you want to use, there are many factors to consider here. One can easily build an app with visual studio code which doesn't demand much resources from your pc unlike android studio that might require 8gb ram, core i3 to at least run and compile your project.

For android studio if your system resources are limited You can switch to linux or if you want to continue using windows you will have to adjust some settings in android studio but you would compromise some functionality like auto complete and some.

For visual studio code, you can use a low end system with at least 4gb ram but just know that you will have to stick to react or flutter for building mobile apps.

Personally I love using visual studio code if I have time to practice coding but for client jobs i stick to android studio for professionalism and to save time as well.

use visual studio, learn react and flutter as alot of devs are switching to it already. Me personally I'm practicing more of flutter these days so I can develop apps for both android and iOS.
