So why did he discontinue with a working formation? Just play the boys and let them get comfortable with the system if they're not. With this system, the players have support from each other. They have much freedom to express themselves.

It's not that Lingard and Van Beek aren't good enough but finding the right formation they can thrive in is what Ole can't do.
