boss with over 200k mileage is that a good bargain for 2.2m
The price is good.

Forget d milage...most cars have their milage rolled back.
What's important...
Are the engine, gear and AC clean and sound? Free from oil seaps, leaks and ugly stains? Is there still green coolant in the radiator?
Is d interior clean and neat, devoid of cracks, tears and breaks?
Is the body and undercarriage free from rust and corrosion?
If these are checks and u r satisfied go for it.

Is your Camry burning oil, if no, stick to the hardex oil, if yes, switch to a thicker oil.
Why is switching to a thicker oil always d recommendation in this case instead of advising to fix the problem.

The problem is a factory error, those cars are known to burn oil, is either he switched to higher viscosity 10w40 or 5w40 or he keep topping the oil, fixing the oil burn will require him to rebuild the Piston and rings.

Which oil did u use for d 5k miles that didn't drop? Is it the follow come oil or the same oil that is now starting to short after second service?

Cos I have noticed when I buy a tokunbo car and drive the oil that came with it, even for upto 1month it doesn't short but when I start using naija mobil 1 d story changes.

Most of the mobil 1 we buy are fakes. Even the ones from so called trusted Nairaland sellers. The only oil seller I can vouch for is Dru23. Maybe madam rad too but I haven't used hers before.

It's just unfortunate that you can't bank on Dru, today he has tomorrow he's out of stock.

Still doing it just like someone that life is hard for in the overseas yet can't come because he is already in it.
Same way many have gone into others businesses but they find it hard to leave because of the capital already invested.

There are car owners that have invested but will struggle till it chokes them and give up.

So still doing it doesn't mean one/he enjoys what he is doing.
Bros no mind them na thier usual anthem, it became stale since 1900s

Baz00, if only you knew what I went through before getting that trip. Yesterday's traffic on 3mb was serious. I kept seeing surulere, mushin, ebute meta, this one could have ended at 13k, but had to stop at some point cos I was already tired.
Now, that holiday don start for me, I'll maintain my current strategy.

Finally, 1 million welcome me in open arms. grin

Kudos to you, the new coded king of the road grin

I am not referring in particular to d Camry but all cars generally, sometimes it's just the valve seals that need to be changed and d oil shortage will stop.

You are correct, most times pcv valve can cause oil burn, I thought you are referring to the Camry.

We do take our customers criticism seriously . when I started this business, my objective at the time is to offer affordable engine oil and parts to customers. I wanted to cater to a small niche of car enthusiast....

Due to word of mouth from various customers like you sir , giving us honest reviews and trust . The demand of our product exceeded what we can supply. We are forever indebted to customers like you and others here on nairaland.

Our engine oil is the most affordable product around. We have beat countless competitors on these platform. So all these things plays into why we are always out of stock for Mobil 1 Extended Performance.
And sir this is why we decided to introduce super Tech Advance. We wanted to offer a great alternative to Mobil 1 Extended Performance. Which is doing great among our old and new customers. We encourage you sir to give it short.........

We thank you sir for your honest reviews and we will look for ways to improve and exceed customers experience with us........we thank you sir

From experience... You are 100% correct. And at times the pcv valves will need to be checked.

I changedthe oil that came with it the same week i got the car, used hardex which was what i usedfor 5k miles. And yes, i agree that once we start using naija oil there is always a difference. Even d sound becomes a lil bit louder....that follow come oil na him b d baba.
