Official results from the Anambra State governorship election start coming in with Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) taking the lead.

It was gathered that Soludo is leading in one-third of the entire Local Government Areas in Anambra State.

With the results announced so far, the APGA candidate has cleared seven LGAs out of the 21 LGAs in the state.

It was also learnt that the All Progressive Congress, APC and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP fail to clinch a single LGA in the results announced so far.

The LGAs won by Soludo so far are Orumba South, Njijoka, Awka South, Onitsha South, Enugu Anambra East, Anaocha, and Anambra East.
