OSCARTM:I am looking at exactly this - GRC, Audit. Already researched and outlined CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP , ISO 27** and CGEIT and what I would like to work towards within 2 yrs in the UK (Seriously eyeing the top 4 even though they dont really pay well) Can I send a DM if you are in this field or can give some additional insight? I await your response Thanks |

harrrry:If you mean, wether you can break quarantine after a negative day 5 test, answer is yes. The day 8 test is sold as a package with day 2 and still needs to be done according to NHS even afyer day 5 negative test, even though I forgot to do mine nothing happened... |

Mikool101:Why don't you go ahead apply for the course you want now? Once you are given a visa for a course, I don't think you can switch. So either send a fresh application or ask for a switch. Explorw other schools as well. |

Mikool101:I am not in uk yet o but is this accreditation important for you to practice? In nigeria as a medical student, you must be accredited by their medical body. But in Nigeria and I guess uk if u are not accredited by ACCA doesnt mean you cant practice as an accountant. What the accreditation does for you, it will make you skip stages in writing the exams. If you like go to a school whose course is accredited by Acca and then someone who course is not accredited applies for same position that person will be picked ahead of you because he is already chartered. But if you are not comfortable u can switch course I know of someone who changed course. It depends on the school, the day he changed course was the day a new offer letter came. |

since inception, I have always had something for tech, but I didn't have much money that can give me a breakthrough from nigeria to here now I'm in the uk on a tier 2 visa and I have this colleague that is studying computer science with software engineering though he is British and he sometimes brags about how he is leaving us rekindles my passion for tech He said the tuition is 6k and completely online makes it more interesting I have these concerns and the reason I bring it to you our pillars 1. on a tier 2 visa is it illegal for me to do this masters that is completely online? 2. is it worth it or I'm better off with some courses thanks all in anticipation |

harrrry:Yes, an unvaccinated person can do day5 test (England only). However, you will have to pay for day2 & day8 which is compulsory. While day5 is optional. https://dantelabs.co.uk/pages/faq |

Nice one. I am happy to announce that I got certified as a PMP through PMI on the 6/11/2021. During my preparation, I read and studied extensively on Agile/hybrid approach to project management which is now a requirement and a major part of exam content for passing PMP. Now as a project manager, I am looking for opportunities to practice away from my present field. Do well to hit me up should there's opening especially for a scrum master Aphrodite007: |

Adewumi2888:It would be helpful if you give a background on your previous experience in Nigeria. The quick jobs you can do her the regular manual jobs like warehouse operative, care jobs, security etc. It’s Xmas season and there are currently a lot of these jobs available. So, it shouldn’t be difficult getting one. You can also check around for agency that speed up getting these jobs. |
