The Chinese banned Eternals long before it was released,even before Shang Chi was released sef.
I believe the reason is because Chloe Zhao said things that put the Chinese government in bad light.

If China's out, that would mean that Eternals may end up with lacklustre B.O returns in the international market. Plus, the poor word of mouth from critics will surely affect it's legs domestically.

So far so not good for Phase bore four, only Dr strange and NWH and maybe TLAT are potential stand outs. If only they focused on stories instead politics with dead uninteresting characters.

Anyways, make Una stop all this message of Doom. Marvel's Phase 4 doesn't necessarily have issues as was previously feared. Black Widow and Shang Chi's performance tells a different story. It's going well in my books. Having one or two bad movie doesn't necessarily undermine the franchise as a whole. Besides, it's MCU — the world's Darling. Media, general audience and Hollywood will still protect it.


The only issue I see is a rebounding DC Franchise.
