Also, the writer misled uninformed members of the public by trying to give impression that it was ASUU National Congress or National Headquarters that set up the Probe Panel. A Kangaroo Panel set up by FUTO Lecturers to probe decision taken by them cannot be overturned by them because of public outcry, otherwise, they will be shooting themselves at the foot. FUTO Alumni gave ultimatum to the Governing council to explain how the University became a subject of mockery with the professorship award, I know, it is an empty noise. Patanmi is more important now to the University and the politically powerless woman VC than millions of FUTO graduates. Prof Umar Dambatta, the EVC / CEO of NCC is a Professor of Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering . He lectured for many decades. If Bayero University, Kano had awarded this type of Professorship (God forbid, not possible ), I am very sure, Prof Dambatta would have protested the award. All the criteria cited by FUTO is not tenable anywhere in the Academic world for the award of Professorship, except in a mushroom university that FUTO has become. |

Is very funny sha. Is only in Nigeria, they would give anyone professor of cyber security. He should go to universities like even Uniben, UNILAG or Lasu to defend it. That professorship would be turned to paper cause he would not be able to answer any questions there. Is only some worthless universities in the North that can do this rubbish. |
